What’s that 50s suburbia music they play in ads and movies?

I think it was in the smilin’ Bob ED/male enhancement commercial. Nick at Nite. Ren and Stimpy. Usually used in a trite way.

Think A Summer Place, happy homemaker, 50s Stepford wife.

Sounds like plucking string instruments and lilting...not sure. Post anything you can offer. I’m hoping there’s more than one theme.

Probably more than one song. This is the first song that came to me. "Holiday for Strings"

This does not have the plucking strings, but it does evoke sparkling two-tone refrigerators and convertible landyachts with mighty fins: "Gay Spirits" by David Rose & His Orchestra

R2 and r4 are very close. R1 is in the realm. I appreciate r3.

This kind of music always relaxes me.

My grandmother and the other ladies listened to Mantovani when they played Bridge.
