PS shoutout to them cause they have ADULTS ONLY plastered all over the place and while I was there a woman made a reservation and then showed up with her baby. They told her no kids allowed. She tried to guilt them into letting her stay cause she reserved and paid for the room already so she has right to stay there etc. and they told her not to worry, they canceled her stay and she will he reimbursed in full. She started arguing how they are putting a child and their mother on the street and the staff said “ma’am we have ADULTS ONLY all over the website and even if you call. You knew. You can’t stay here”. She claimed she was gonna sue and left.

I loved that they didn’t budge.

They told me that happens all the time. Parents showing up with their kids thinking they will budge for them and getting mad when they don’t let them stay.

It's the way of the world - when a place becomes more successful and well known the prices are jacked up. Unless I had a lot of money to throw around, staying at that place for right around $2000 is a tad too much. Kind of not for me, the price I mean.

R13 the $20 extra you lay (was $15) is for access to the saunas and hot tubs. There’s also showers back there. They also provide a van that drops you off to the regular beach or the nude beach for free. Also free breakfast.

The bar is tiny but is one of the most popular in Miami. Local gays and women and others travel to go to that bar. On Friday nights-Sunday it’s packed and loud. Everyday of the week they have a different theme. Monday is Karaoke night. Tuesday is like game night. You don’t have to participate but you can. The weekend is no theme just packed.

No, it isn’t illegal at all. That’s a fun myth that gets passed around. If it were true then all the men’s only hotels in Ft Lauderdale would have to close wouldn’t they? But there they are ... and theyve been there for many years.

The reviews emphasize it’s a dump you’d stay in to fuck in the sauna, but since you can do that for $15 - stay somewhere else. Then you can sleep and not llisten to the noise all night and need the free earplugs and the sleep machine. Nor will you have to risk the frequently broken air conditioning.

Everywhere its almost all good reviews and there was like 40 reviews from women out of over 800.... do that math. Save the fake outrage.

I saw how there was little skew in the reviews. So, I did basic sentiment analysis in python against the reviews. A lot of the reviews are the same ones on each of the review sites. The same terms reappear, and a disproportionate number of reviewers have 1 review.

You can draw your own conclusion why there would be a large number of reviews with the same terminology from reviewers with one review.

The review sections on each site has many different reviews. Also, the reviews are not fake as they are not a few words. Many are detailed and break down the persons stay.

Back in the early aughts I stayed at the San Vicente Inn in WeHo, LA and it was rather pleasant. The rooms were clean, gay neighborhood, cruising went on 24/7, 24 hour fitness nearby,. But the main downside was that the spa and fitness area was incredibly old and filthy and in desperate need of repair. Never went back after I lost the excuse to visit LA (took a different job).
