I'm actually sad and a bit alarmed at this womans reputation as a body positive and acceptance role model. No one that large is in any place to advocate positive health. If anything it reiterates a dangerous message that ANY body is acceptable. For every additional pound over her ideal weight that's 4lbs per knee in torque alone. Her heart is at risk at that size and its NOT healthy or a positive 'norm'. The fact is that medical studies and lifespan analysis proves its healthier to be chronically 10lbs UNDER weight vs. over. I am not trying to fat shame or body shame but as someone who has someone close to them this size (relative) it's a damned shame as a waste of a life to be reliant on wheelchairs and scooters because of the size of your body. It's about quality of life and when you cant stand for the duration of say, your father's funeral at 29 because of your weight, a lifestyle change is needed.
