Rachel Maddow Breaks Down Where Donald Trump Gets His Conspiracy Theories
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Thursday did a deep dive into where President Donald Trump may get some of his conspiracy theories.
The host of “The Rachel Maddow Show” pointed out that several of Trump’s foreign policy talking points since taking office have appeared to directly parrot propaganda and fake news originally put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s government.

That was a scary segment. What she didn't really get into was Putin's testing the waters towards invading Baltic and Balkan countries. But that's where this is heading.

I saw this last night too. What is Rachel trying to do? Is she building a treason case against Trump?

it sure is, r1. He knows fat Donnie will sit on his hands while Putin marches all over Europe doing as he pleases.
He's a threat to the globe and will make his move once merkel is gone.

“Trying to do”, r2?
What do you THINK she’s trying to do?
Think about it...she has a PhD is political science...was a Rhodes Scholar...had a news radio show...now she’s the #1 cable tv reporter....
What could she possibly be doing??? Hmmm I don’t know. Maybe...um...reporting the news???? Investigating facts???

She has had Donald nailed since before the inauguration. She tied all the banking scandals in Europe and Ukraine and Manafort's guilt.

Nicole took it a step further today with her show.

But Nicole still didn't take it far enough. This has everything to do with Putin's goal of reincorporating former Soviet republics back into the Russian fold.

And reporters today never asked him about it. They're complicit.

Why ask him and just give him another excuse to lie ?

What hasn't been said is how is DJT getting this info? He's got the attention span of a gnat, so I don't expect him to be able to parrot something he heard more than an hour before. Did he talk to Putin right before the cabinet meeting? If so, he's a fucking Manchurian President.

Ok, here's what my fevered little mind has concocted. Trump wants to declare a national emergency and utilize the military to work on a border wall. Tying them up down south, as it were. Meanwhile, Putin begins some little incursion into a minor country, say Belarus, for example. While we're otherwise engaged, Putin can roll in without consequence. Then the fun and games begin.

R12,also I think trump wants the shutdown to somehow obstruct his investigation.

I think that's Trump's goal r13. I don't think he and Putin are necessarily in cahoots, but I do think he's playing into Putin's hands. The only upside I can think of is that Putin might have said something when the two of them met in Helsinki and Trump has inadvertently spilled the beans.

Mueller made it clear, he just wanted to get under the protection of the new Congress.
Now we have six more months of Grand Jury to look forward to.
People saying that he was near the end were just giving him cover.
