Add at least one parent known for her looks and a dad that's not bad either, and you're in the stratosphere for perfection, which is usually equated with being thin. And models have been told for decades that they must be thin. Cindy and her husband are NOT too thin and she was a model. She probably thinks they'll grow out of it. There are people who don’t value education. It’s foreign to me, because I grew up believing that education was the key to success. I live in an affluent bubble where a lot of the talk among parents is about schools and test prep and curriculum.

We have friends who moved to the burbs when their kids are little, and the mom never mentions grades or test scores. Their focus is sports. The dad coaches for his kids’ teams and the daughter is a really good lacrosse player.

Seriously. That's what I would do if I was raising some Malibu brats. It's Cindy's and Rande's money and if they want their kids to inherit it all that is their choice; it's their money after all. But I'd want my kids to have a good head on their shoulders and get more out of life than just partying and being praised for their looks. Having said that, it seems a lot of LA rich kids live decent lives doing nothing much of anything and they're fine. I don't know. Maybe as long as you can hang with people just like you, you can adjust to being part of the idle rich without too many problems.

I think college is over rated unless you're going for specific high level degree. If I had kids I'd push them to think about starting a business instead.
