Can you imagine Cindy as a young girl, eating Wheaties for breakfast, blissfully unaware that one day she would be mistaken for the man on the front of the cereal box?

I don't believe this for a moment. The reason is that these people saw Cindy in the flesh. No way did they see Cindy and believe she was transgender. That is just a fantasy.

Agree with R13. This likely didn't happen. Still, in the media, there is this fantasy being pushed that it is difficult to tell real women and trans women apart.

But what is not being mentioned is that many of the mainstream news photos and videos being used of trans women are heavily edited to remove any traces of the male.

That's why I ALWAYS look for alternate pictures/videos to judge if a trans person might really passable. Even then, I would still want to see them in real life.

One recent example is the transgender Miss Spain who was widely proclaimed as "passable".

Look at this video of Miss Spain, R6. It's not just appearance. It's also movement, body posture, etc.

I guess it is possible that some people might get confused by only seeing edited photos all the time that they actually believe that Caitlyn Jenner could somehow look, move and talk like Cindy Crawford.

Sometimes even I cannot tell the difference.

Why do women sometimes appear more “handsome” as they age. Brooke Shields comes to mind. And then men including gay men can start to look like lesbians.

R27 I think it may be the hormonal changes associated with menopause or pre-menopause. Also, women tend to lose fullness in the face, making their features more angular and masculine.

I’m embarrassed to say that I think Caitlyn looks better at this point . He looks a lot better now than he did as the hybrid Brucilla in later years . Cindy’s plastic surgeries make her harsher looking .

Young women and girls have more subcutaneous fat in their faces which gives them a youthful quality. As women age their faces lose subcutaneous fat, which usually results in a hard or gaunt look, especially if they are thin—hence the adage about having to choose between one’s ass and one’s face.

They look very similar, especially at that event (with Caitlin looking a bit better). I’m not really sure what Cindy could do at this point for her face. More fillers will not look good on her.

So does everyone agree that near-70 year old Caitlyn at R24 looks much better than 20-something year old Miss Spain at R16?
