Are you gay? Don't comment on straight actor Christian Keyes Instagram photos

Currently playing Constantine's love interest in Legends of Tomorrow and also played gay in some Tyler Perry plays.

Fake news. He said can other men stop commenting sexual things on his photos. The video wasn’t needed but at the same time are STRAIGHT men suppose to enjoy gay men making sexual comments towards them?

by Anonymousreply 1December 30, 2018 5:23 AM

Boycott.

by Anonymousreply 2December 30, 2018 5:25 AM

r1 By your own description, it's not "fake news".

by Anonymousreply 3December 30, 2018 5:59 AM

here's the thing. I think it's pathetic and thirsty when anyone (male, female, gay or straight) sends a stranger lewd messages or a sexual emoji comment. It's lame and immature. That said, why can't he ignore it? He's playing a gay character on a show! Surely that excites the gay viewers of that show. Did he not expect to get some gay attention on his social media? Ignoring it wouldn't hurt. These gay-for-pay actors need to get over themselves. Next time let a gay actor play the gay role

here are some of his scenes (yes he's hot btw)

And stop sending him dick picks. Boys let the man alone.

by Anonymousreply 7December 30, 2018 7:37 AM

I stopped watching that show. Nice to know they let Constantine be bi.

by Anonymousreply 8December 30, 2018 1:07 PM

These are the actors who play gay roles.

by Anonymousreply 9December 30, 2018 1:12 PM

And, gay actors get rejected because they are gay.

by Anonymousreply 10December 30, 2018 1:13 PM

Fuck you and get off a gay board you self hating piece of shir r1. Actors get thirsty comments on social media all the fucking time. The fact that he is freaking out that some of those comments come from men is pure homophobic bullshit. And he plays a gay role?!

Holy fuck, with friends like that who needs enemies.

by Anonymousreply 11December 30, 2018 1:25 PM

Black people get away with homophobia, that’s reality. I fear a black Trump (or black Democrat) way more than a white Trump.

by Anonymousreply 12December 30, 2018 1:30 PM

We had a black President, he will go down in history for how much he did to help gay rights r12.

That was a very bad attempt to derail the thread.

by Anonymousreply 13December 30, 2018 1:33 PM

There’s a double standard here. You never hear out, gay male actors requesting that women not make thirsty comments. Celebrities like Ricky Martin, Michael Urie, and Neil Patrick Harris must get that - but when a straight male gets comments from another guy....whoa...hold up...

Rings of a subtle form of homophobia (and/or a denial of one’s own same-sex desires that might get aroused when a straight man plays a gay character being intimate with another man)

by Anonymousreply 14December 30, 2018 1:41 PM

R1 has been spamming this board with dumb threads recently. Including the ones about "having a bestfriend" and "having a foundation"

by Anonymousreply 15December 30, 2018 1:46 PM

You guys attacked me when I said it was a good idea to stop putting straight men in gay roles.

by Anonymousreply 16December 30, 2018 1:49 PM

Why would a homophobe like this idiot play gay if it bothers him that much? Greg berlanti better stop thinking with her whole and stop casting degenerates like these in his shows.

by Anonymousreply 17December 30, 2018 1:55 PM

r14, You are making more out of it than there is. He said to take it down a notch. The eggplant emojis and the outright sexual harrassment part. You don't see women sending vagina pics or making blatant sexual offers to those gay stars once they are out. He is asking for your love but would like the sexual harassment to stop.

The level of appropriateness that is fine between two of age gay men is not the same for someone not interested in you sexually. Ask Kevin Spacey. He doubt he is a homophobic individual playing a gay role. He is just asking that his not on your team aspect be respected.

by Anonymousreply 18December 30, 2018 1:57 PM

Hey asshole, go fuck yourself. I'll lust after whoever I fucking want to. But it won't be you, you weak, sorry excuse for a man. Grow a pair, you fucking child.

by Anonymousreply 19December 30, 2018 1:59 PM

Is this your first day on the internet r18?

Omg, not eggplant emojis, how can someone even go on with that level of harassment!!! And yes gay stars get get sexual offers from women all the time on social media. And it doesn't bother them or even register at all, why would it?!

Your comment is so dumb I wonder if you are his PR person. Go through twitter or instagram. Every goodlooking celebrity has thirsty comments written about them. That is why Buzzfeed literally started a web series on "celebrities reading thirst tweets"

by Anonymousreply 20December 30, 2018 2:03 PM

Hopefully Greg Berlanti will see this and promptly relieve him of his burdensome job, that way he can go back to obscurity and not have to worry about any icky gay men saying flattering things about him.

by Anonymousreply 21December 30, 2018 2:10 PM

Berlanti won’t fire him. Gay men are scared of black people. They are very complacent to non-white homophobia and black people know it. He’ll be fine.

by Anonymousreply 22December 30, 2018 2:13 PM

R1= Donald trump

by Anonymousreply 23December 30, 2018 2:18 PM

[quote]They are very complacent to non-white homophobia and black people know it.

Come again?

by Anonymousreply 24December 30, 2018 2:18 PM

Stop R24.

by Anonymousreply 25December 30, 2018 2:19 PM

Of course gay actors are not offended by female interest, as it doesn't pose a threat to anything the way gay male attention does to some insecure straight actors. They're more likely to be indifferent, slightly amused, or flattered.

by Anonymousreply 26December 30, 2018 2:21 PM

[quote]He doubt he is a homophobic individual playing a gay role.

There are homophobic guys who do gay porn, much less play a gay role for the screen. I'm sure this guy doesn't *think* he is homophobic, but he needs to have a serious realization with himself about why online compliments from men make him so uncomfortable, and grow from that.

Just like all these white people who are calling the cops on black people doing perfectly innocent stuff don't think they are racist, but the world is having to point out to them, that yes, they are.

by Anonymousreply 27December 30, 2018 2:25 PM

[Quote] You don't see women sending vagina pics or making blatant sexual offers to those gay stars once they are out.

How either clueless or self-hating can you be?

Out gay stars are CONSTANTLY "harassed" by females trying to convert them and tell them how wet these gay men make them. "You've never had the right woman... yet!" and endless variations. Ricky Martin, NPH, and on and on.

The GAY STARS just ignore it.

What kind of shill are you?

by Anonymousreply 28December 30, 2018 2:37 PM

Most celebrities are flattered that they have people out there that find them attractive, if they didn't, they wouldn't have much of a career.

by Anonymousreply 29December 30, 2018 2:40 PM

What kind of perv sends anyone a vulgar message or penis pic unsolicited? Some people are pathetic weirdos.

by Anonymousreply 30December 30, 2018 2:40 PM

R18 also wrote this admonishment to gay men at R7:

[Quote] And stop sending him dick picks. Boys let the man alone.

Notice that the gay men are "boys" while the straight guy is "the man."

by Anonymousreply 31December 30, 2018 2:41 PM

R29, no, most normal people don’t like receiving lewd messages and pics from strangers. It’s disrespectful and disgusting

by Anonymousreply 32December 30, 2018 2:41 PM

Yes r31, the word choice there is very telling.

by Anonymousreply 33December 30, 2018 2:42 PM

Having "lewd" (MARY!) comments made about yourself is a normal part of being a celebrity

by Anonymousreply 34December 30, 2018 2:43 PM

Remember when it was acceptable and even funny for Wayne Campbell to say "schwing!" on SNL?

by Anonymousreply 35December 30, 2018 2:44 PM

Oh no, more lewd comments.

by Anonymousreply 36December 30, 2018 2:44 PM

Another closet case. Do we really need that? That's what happens when bi guys who can't act decide to become actors. Anyone this sensitive about such a petty thing either never trained as an actor or is too deep in the closet. It's nearly impossible to care about it if you trained in theater. Even the rare straight actor wouldn't mind that.

by Anonymousreply 37December 30, 2018 2:52 PM

Lip Stick Alley is taking over R31. Forget Breitbart, that site is here to stay.

by Anonymousreply 38December 30, 2018 2:56 PM

I'm sure he had no problem plowing Mrs. Berlanti's ass.

by Anonymousreply 39December 30, 2018 3:08 PM

Just became One person is OK or cavalier about receiving Lou comment doesn’t mean it should be acceptable in general. Sane peolple are keenly aware many find it very offensive

by Anonymousreply 40December 30, 2018 3:44 PM

^ That was unintelligible.

by Anonymousreply 41December 30, 2018 3:49 PM

Well, SMELL HER!!!

by Anonymousreply 42December 30, 2018 3:55 PM

This problem will take care of itself as he get old and smellier.

by Anonymousreply 43December 30, 2018 4:01 PM

R43 Yeah in another decade no one will want him.

Enjoy "it" while it lasts buddy.

by Anonymousreply 44December 30, 2018 6:09 PM

Gents, be glad he doesn’t want you. He’s known for passing around herpes like Oprah handed out cars. Just sayin... the dude is trash.

by Anonymousreply 45December 30, 2018 6:17 PM

Matt Ryan is both hotter and appears to be handling whatever attention he's getting much better.

So, he can have his tantrum - that's fine.

But, we gays have a LONG memory and rarely forget slights by celebrities, so he better hope he never needs us to mount any kind of comeback - ask Donna Summer (and it's not even really clear what, if anything, she actually may have said back in the days when there was limited documentation of such things).

by Anonymousreply 46December 30, 2018 6:21 PM

I believe the men who were last the concerts where Donna gave her Adam & Steve remarks. Fuck any of her spin since then to reclaim her gay audience to save her failed career. She really did say it.

by Anonymousreply 47December 30, 2018 6:26 PM

R38 LSA is notoriously homophobic.

by Anonymousreply 48December 30, 2018 6:33 PM

Lip Stick Alley is the black Stormfront.

by Anonymousreply 49December 31, 2018 1:21 AM

Straight black men heterosexuals shouldn't play gay characters. Too weak an ego. Plus, it's hypocritical. Would they like a dark skinned Caucasian type - say, a Saudi Arabian - to play Black characters?

by Anonymousreply 50January 3, 2019 3:03 AM

Stephen Amell decided to show up in his underwear to a gay mans birthday. Talk about a night and day difference. The example of being completely at ease with gay attention compared to being very defensive about it.

I can't remember any actor ever making a statement like this to their gay fans, it's not a good look.
