Kelly Clarkson sings "Fancy" for Reba at 2018 Kennedy Center Honors

I don't watch The Voice and I hope she doesn't do a talk show, she is too talented.

The original "Fancy" is Bobbie Gentry's song, not Reba's.

Interesting that Bobbie Gentry walked away from her career in the late 1970's. She was still selling in America and was popular in Britain.

She's an extremely private person and lives in a gated community in Tennessee.

Kelly looks good, must be some strong Spanx

Kelly looks fab and she sang the hell out of that song and almost made it sound relevant (it's a fun song, but it's hard to take it as seriously as performers present it).

It's strange they chose this song because, as stated upthread, it's really associated with Bobbie Gentry. You'd have thought that they would have chosen one of Reba's songs that's solely identified with her.

Also, Kelly has dead eyes when she sings. Her face makes the appropriate expressions -- it's not a botox issue -- but there is nothing going on in her eyes.

Kelly did fine, but why the HELL did they leave out the "I may have been born just po' white trash, but Fancy was my NAME!"

That's the big moment of the song, for Christ's sake!
