by Anonymousreply 69January 26, 2019 7:36 AM

Black panther

by Anonymousreply 1December 26, 2018 5:56 AM

Any superhero movie

by Anonymousreply 2December 26, 2018 5:57 AM

The last 300 Star Wars sequel prequels.

by Anonymousreply 3December 26, 2018 5:59 AM

Gone With The Wind

by Anonymousreply 4December 26, 2018 6:13 AM

The Marvel films. I’ve only seen Iron Man 1 and Captain America 1 & 2.

by Anonymousreply 5December 26, 2018 6:15 AM

Top Gun Julia Roberts movies, except Steele Magnolias

by Anonymousreply 6December 26, 2018 6:16 AM

Titanic. Never wanted to see it during its original run. I was even sick in bed for several weeks right around the time it was on HBO three times a day; never wanted to see it then either. Haven't seen Avatar either. Am I missing out? Serious question.

A quick note that might come in handy for this thread: If you want to make a list, you need to hit the return key twice after each item.

by Anonymousreply 7December 26, 2018 6:21 AM

R6 You never saw Pretty Woman? The story ofa whore with a heart of gold almost raped by George Costanza and her mouth comparable to a whale's mouth!

by Anonymousreply 8December 26, 2018 6:22 AM

Story of a whore...

by Anonymousreply 9December 26, 2018 6:23 AM

The Matrix films

by Anonymousreply 10December 26, 2018 6:25 AM

The Queen

by Anonymousreply 11December 26, 2018 6:28 AM

The original Star Wars (all of them actually), It's a Wonderful Life, most actions films, the Fast & the Furious franchise, well, basically a ton of popular hit movies, most hold no interest.

The general public liking something is sure not a barometer of a film being good.

by Anonymousreply 12December 26, 2018 6:33 AM

You have deliberately avoided watching "Apocalypse Now", OP? You are a horrible person.

by Anonymousreply 13December 26, 2018 6:34 AM

R13 You are the hugest cunt EVER.

by Anonymousreply 14December 26, 2018 6:38 AM

Why thank you, R14.

by Anonymousreply 15December 26, 2018 6:40 AM

Just about any blockbuster except Disney movies when I was a kid. If it's a huge hit, I'd be sure to hate it..

by Anonymousreply 16December 26, 2018 6:41 AM

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Philadelphia - One of several Tom Hanks movies I have avoided.

by Anonymousreply 17December 26, 2018 6:42 AM

I never bought Hanks as a serious actor. Loved him as a comedian only.

by Anonymousreply 18December 26, 2018 6:47 AM

All big action flicks with the exception of Star Wars and Star Treks.

by Anonymousreply 19December 26, 2018 6:48 AM

"The Wizard of Oz."

by Anonymousreply 20December 26, 2018 6:49 AM

All the Xmas shite: It's A Wonderful Life, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, The Great Escape, Star Wars/Trek anything.

by Anonymousreply 21December 26, 2018 6:50 AM

Harry Potter movies

by Anonymousreply 22December 26, 2018 6:51 AM

None of the Star Wars or Star Trek movies. None of the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potters.

by Anonymousreply 23December 26, 2018 6:53 AM

R2, I recently watched (and then only the last half of) "Titanic."

Having seen the two other major movies about the sinking, I must say that this version superbly if grimly showed the sinking and what happened to the passengers. Death in the frigid sea was depicted vividly.

Still, one cannot help hoping for a "different ending."

by Anonymousreply 24December 26, 2018 6:55 AM

Fast and Furious movies. Matrix movies. Anything with The Rock. Most Harrison Ford movies.

by Anonymousreply 25December 26, 2018 6:56 AM

Same as r22 Harry Potter movies

by Anonymousreply 26December 26, 2018 6:58 AM

Mission Impossible movies

by Anonymousreply 27December 26, 2018 6:59 AM

Call Me By Your Name

by Anonymousreply 28December 26, 2018 6:59 AM

Op miss out on my fave movie, Apocalypse Now

by Anonymousreply 29December 26, 2018 7:00 AM

I disliked Brad Pitt when he was at the height of his fame and still haven't seen most of his famous movies. I quite like Brad Pitt now.

by Anonymousreply 30December 26, 2018 7:01 AM

I avoid Gene Kelly movies especially those with long dream sequences

by Anonymousreply 31December 26, 2018 7:04 AM

A lot of those super hero films. Haven't seen any of the Andrew Garfield Spiderman films or the latest Avengers.

by Anonymousreply 32December 26, 2018 7:04 AM

I still have noghtmares of being eaten by Julia Roberts huge hippo mouth.

by Anonymousreply 39December 28, 2018 1:39 AM

I saw one Coppola movie when I was a kid, Finian's Rainbow, and knew I never needed to see another movie made by this man ever again.

And I haven't.

by Anonymousreply 40December 28, 2018 1:39 AM

R40, to be fair he did improve. The first two Godfather films are among the all time greatest.

by Anonymousreply 41December 28, 2018 1:41 AM

Titanic as well.

by Anonymousreply 42December 28, 2018 1:47 AM

Never cared for Indiana Jones or most of Ford's oeuvre.

by Anonymousreply 43December 28, 2018 2:06 AM

ET, Forrest Gump, Alien(s), The Matrix, plus all of R38's.

by Anonymousreply 44December 28, 2018 2:38 AM

R13, here. Yeah, Julia Roberts is a BIG NO for me. I went to a rival school of hers and know how she was as a kid, even. Huge diva and rude, even at pool parties.

P.S. our school kicked her school's tush in drama competitions.

Apologies for my naughty negelct of a comma in my first post. I wasn't wearing my glasses.

by Anonymousreply 45December 28, 2018 3:07 AM

Any Star Wars franchise film. Jurassic Park. Anything from Disney made after 1977.

by Anonymousreply 46December 28, 2018 4:09 AM

R23, when the "Lord of the Rings" movies first came out, I thought I wouldn't like them, that they weren't my type of movies. I put off seeing them for a few years. When I caught them on TV, I absolutely loved them.

by Anonymousreply 47December 28, 2018 6:21 AM

Star Wars.

Saw the very first one. I thought it was the worst piece of crap I had ever seen. I hate movies like that. Never again. Never ever.

by Anonymousreply 48December 28, 2018 6:53 AM

Star Trek

More crap.

Most that aren't horror. Sorry, my interests are extremely limited.

by Anonymousreply 51December 28, 2018 12:45 PM

Jurassic Park or any of its sequels. I'm not a big Spielberg fan.

by Anonymousreply 52December 28, 2018 2:41 PM

It's a Wonderful Life - hard to avoid though when December comes along. It shows up everywhere. Ugh!

by Anonymousreply 53December 28, 2018 2:44 PM

Anything with Adam Sandler.

by Anonymousreply 54January 21, 2019 1:55 AM

by Anonymousreply 58January 21, 2019 2:45 AM

Most movies, especially sci-fi or super hero movies. "Back to the Future" is a movie that everyone chastises me for not seeing. I am 52 years old so it was in the theaters when I was a young adult.

by Anonymousreply 59January 21, 2019 2:48 AM

“What women (don’t) Want”

Or

“Why I’m boring”

by Anonymousreply 63January 26, 2019 2:07 AM

The Hunger Games

I don’t care if it’s social satire, I have zero interest in watching teenagers kill each other.

Titanic - too sappy.
