Ruth Bader Ginsburg -- CANCER FOUND on her lungs
by Anonymous | reply 186 | June 7, 2019 8:50 PM |
I hate her for not retiring during Obama's presidency.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 21, 2018 4:26 PM |
Had the growths removed
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 21, 2018 4:27 PM |
She will be fine, sends her love.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 21, 2018 4:28 PM |
I love you R3.
I hope a trick robs you, R4.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 21, 2018 4:30 PM |
Arrogant bitch thought she would live forever.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 21, 2018 4:31 PM |
Well Scalia died during Obama's term and there was no Supreme Court appointment. Ginsburg just delayed the inevitable, that the Republicans get two more Supreme Court picks.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 21, 2018 4:34 PM |
Why are you so awful, R6?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 21, 2018 4:34 PM |
OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 21, 2018 4:36 PM |
You should hate Obama for not pushing harder to get a SCOTUS pick as he rightfully should have, R1.
And hate the GOP for fucking cheating, lying, grifting and stealing everything they've ever "won," in hopes of literally killing us so they can line their pockets.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 21, 2018 4:38 PM |
Deplorable shits stinking up the thread, dump is 71 he to will die soon, especially since he's an obsesse whale.

BREAKING: US Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg has cancerous growths removed from lung, the court says: "Post-surgery, there was no evidence of any remaining disease."
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 21, 2018 4:41 PM |
Lung cancer, mid 80s = death sentence.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 21, 2018 4:43 PM |
She's fine. No, really. She's FINE! Apparently, when she was hospitalized for the cracked ribs they found a couple of nodules. They operated and removed them, and found no evidence of anything else. They caught it in time. So thank God for cracked ribs. But she's FINE. If Jimmy Carter could have a brain tumor removed at the age of 90 Ruthie is FINE. She has the very best healthcare in the world. She was in NYC being treated. As I said...she's FINE.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 21, 2018 4:45 PM |
Not necessarily, you ignorant slut r13. Jimmy Carter beat brain cancer in his nineties,
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 21, 2018 4:47 PM |
R14 is Brett Kavanaugh, licking his chops & sharpening his steak knife.
R15 is Michelle O & her thigh high boots

Let us pray. There are at least two more years of a Repug president.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 21, 2018 4:48 PM |
She is going to be ok..........
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 21, 2018 4:48 PM |
R10, Obama should have "pushed harder" by... doing what exactly?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 21, 2018 4:50 PM |
Why couldn't it be Brett Kavanaugh with cirrhosis of the liver instead?!?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 21, 2018 4:52 PM |
That is one tough broad...

At least.

Cancer moves very slowly in the elderly
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 21, 2018 4:57 PM |
I'm really hoping she outlives Trump; so she can at least die in peace.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 21, 2018 4:57 PM |
R23, we’ll eventually we’re all goners so you’re technically correct but when she fractured her ribs, they found early cancer. It would have gone unnoticed if she hadn’t broken her ribs, but they caught it early enough this time.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 21, 2018 4:58 PM |
She may be fine depending on the lung cancer. My 77 year old neighbor was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. She had part of her lung removed and no other treatment. So far she's fine. And I'm sure if she knew all you she'd send her love too.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 21, 2018 5:00 PM |
R25 yes, you’re correct. My firend’s Mother had breast cancer—she discovered it at 87 just before she went on vacation. Her dr. told her to go on vacation because indeed, it’s slow moving in the elderly. She took care of it when she returned, and died at 93 of old age.

The 2016 election will Determine law and culture for the rest of the century. Don’t lose elections

R28 do you live in Century Village?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 21, 2018 5:01 PM |
R30 that’s well and good if we had a time machine, but we don’t.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 21, 2018 5:02 PM |
I understand, but when we were campaigning in 2017, many of us tried to convey the implications of losing them. We were met with lethargy and overconfidence
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 21, 2018 5:07 PM |
This is just fake news to get Trump's and the Deplorables hopes up and then Ruth Bader Ginsburg goes "Psych, suckers!" and performs a slam dunk with a basketball.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 21, 2018 5:14 PM |
R33, 2018 proves that most people got the message re the consequences of 2016. We just have to move forward and not get complacent.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 21, 2018 5:18 PM |
RBG has had a 2-pack a day habit for decades. Camel Wides unfiltered.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 21, 2018 5:26 PM |
Poor Ruth. Didn't she have some hip injury a couple of months back? She should be in bubble wrap to keep her safe and sound.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 21, 2018 5:31 PM |
Has any president appointed three justices in his first term?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 21, 2018 5:32 PM |
A positive way of looking at it is her fall were she broke her ribs did herself and everyone else a favour and is a blessing because without that this cancer might not have been caught until it was too late.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 21, 2018 5:34 PM |
R37....She fell and broke some ribs in her office.....in a way, it was divine intervention....if she hadnt fallen, she would never had known about the cancer.....hopefully she makes a complete recovery.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | December 21, 2018 5:34 PM |
Perfectly put r40

by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 21, 2018 5:37 PM |
Oh please the woman is on her deathbed. There is no way the doctors are telling the truth here.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 21, 2018 5:39 PM |
Dump will probably appoint one or two more Deplorable Justices in their 40s during his first time. And he will probably self-pardon and then get re-elected, as Dems double down on open borders and trans. That could mean a Supreme Court for decades with a majority of Dump appointments.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 21, 2018 5:40 PM |
first term*
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 21, 2018 5:40 PM |
r42 Im kind of hoping Trump is a one term president!
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 21, 2018 5:40 PM |
My mother has stage 4 lung cancer for the last 4.5 years, it is difficult to diagnose and she never smoked so by the time they found it, it was too late to operate. She is 77, it isn't the death sentence it once was. My grandfather also had it nearly 20 years ago, also a non-smoker, killed him in a few months. Now they have targeted therapies, instead of the chemo that really does so much damage.
Since they were able to operate, it means it was localized and likely she will be fine, if not they have targeted drugs and she can still have at least a few good years left. She was actually lucky to have broken her ribs so they could find it in time, by the time you have symptoms it has already spread.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 21, 2018 5:40 PM |
2025? Wtf? She won’t last that long. If the Dems blow 2020 then they deserve to watch Trump put another Justice on the Court.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 21, 2018 5:41 PM |
I saw the word "malignant" in one of the stories.
She's done.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 21, 2018 5:45 PM |
Thanks for your efforts, Boris at R44. I sincerely do appreciate when you all make the effort to try and sound legitimate, even though you can't help but give yourselves away.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 21, 2018 5:45 PM |
you cannot be sure of that r43
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 21, 2018 5:48 PM |
MDs said there tumor(s) was removed and the cancer has not spread. Cancer could reappear later; I'm hoping it'll be 2021 and the Dems will own the white house.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 21, 2018 6:03 PM |
She's 85 yrs old. That's too old for anybody to be working at any job, let alone on the SCOTUS.
It's ridiculous why they are lifetime appointees.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 21, 2018 6:07 PM |
Stevens was in his 90s or about when he Retired. He’s still giving lectures
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 21, 2018 6:09 PM |
She didn't even have full blown surgery. She had a lumpectomy. they went in, snatched the two nodules, wandered around with a camera, gave the all clear. She's FINE.

No, r31, NYC.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 21, 2018 8:03 PM |
R60, CAN YOU READ? There is no "cancer spread."
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 21, 2018 8:08 PM |
r63 is incredibly naive. They would not have operated on an 85 yr old woman unless cancer was aggressive. Cancer is slow moving in the elderly generally, so it must be worse than they say.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | December 21, 2018 8:11 PM |
R64, I'm the one with the 77 year old neighbor who had part of her lung removed due to cancer. You're trolling or you know jack shit about lung cancer. It's not the death sentence you think it is, and, depending on the type of cancer, surgery may be enough to keep a person cancer free with absolutely no other treatment.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 21, 2018 8:16 PM |
r66, I HOPE that is the case. I am pulling for her. But her days are numbered on SCOTUS.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | December 21, 2018 8:18 PM |
She was good friends with Scalia . A tough lady
by Anonymous | reply 68 | December 21, 2018 8:21 PM |
She’s had colon cancer AND pancreatic cancer in the past. I wonder if this latest one is mets or yet another primary tumor? Either way it’s not good.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | December 21, 2018 8:21 PM |
r69, I thought the same thing. Cancer is EVIL
by Anonymous | reply 70 | December 21, 2018 8:25 PM |
R67, how do you figure her days on SCOTUS are numbered? My neighbor is as active as she was before her lung cancer surgery. In fact, she's just back from a three week vacation of Vietnam, NZ and Iceland, and I'm not talking about a lay by the pool vacation either. Her surgery was 9-months ago BTW.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | December 21, 2018 8:32 PM |
Given her ability to shake off multiple cancers and other ailments, are we sure she isn't a Terminator from the future sent to save us?
by Anonymous | reply 72 | December 21, 2018 8:39 PM |
Well if she dies it's our fault who he puts in her place.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | December 21, 2018 8:41 PM |
Who will Dump replace her with, Steve Bannon?
by Anonymous | reply 74 | December 21, 2018 8:48 PM |
If Dump is re-elected. we could have a 7-2, or 8-1 Deplorable Supreme Court for decades. Elections matter.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | December 21, 2018 8:52 PM |
Keep telling yourself that.....Kavanaugh will be gone by 2020....he WILL be impeached and removed from the bench....Dems arent fucking around with this asshole and his cabal of grifters.

Anyone I've know with lung cance, and there's been a few, including my father was dead within 6 months of diagnosis. Diagnosis to casket within 6 months is typical. And she's had other various cancers in the past? Cracked decaying ribs at the site of the cancer? They're downplaying her numbered days. She's probably in hospice.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | December 21, 2018 9:18 PM |
Trump will get his third justice, and Roe v Wade will finally be overturned
by Anonymous | reply 79 | December 21, 2018 9:35 PM |
It seems likely to me that Justice Kennedy was leaned on to retire when he did, for no apparent reason (such as health), so that Trump could make a second Supreme Court appointment. Now Ginsberg better not die!
by Anonymous | reply 80 | December 21, 2018 9:35 PM |
Lots of wishful thinking on this thread.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | December 21, 2018 9:35 PM |
Notorious RBG has already beat pancreatic cancer which I thought was pretty much terminal. What really bothers me is, wasn't RBG just saying in an interview the other day that she was fine after the broken ribs?
Which means we can't really trust her to be honest with us about her health, her right I guess, but when she goes we might get absolutely no notice even if it is sometime long term.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | December 21, 2018 9:36 PM |
r71, here is a clip from Sept of this year. She looks sick and out of it.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | December 21, 2018 9:41 PM |
R80 It's tradition for justices to retire under presidents of the same party that nominated them (this is why many are upset Ginsburg didn't under Obama). In this particular case, Kennedy probably didn't think Trump was going to get a second term.

I have two nodules on my lungs Lower left. They haven't grown or changed shape in two years. I get a CAT Scan once a year and consult with a pulmonary specialist annually. I'm 61. WE found them when I had my chest ex ray. They're a bit larger than a pin dot. When we had the CAT Scan they also saw a lesion on my pancreas. So I had an MRI. They said it had not changed in a year either. Ruthie will be fine.

"NO dumb ass. I said there was no change, no growth in mine. If as I have been told by my physician, cancers develop slower the older you are, Ruthie"
Than why did they risk operating on her if it's so slow growing? Also, why did Ruth lie to the public last week saying she was healed?
by Anonymous | reply 98 | December 21, 2018 11:21 PM |
I hope she can make through the timeline of all the appeals that are coming regarding Trump evidence and his impeachment hearings. Trump will appeal every little think as far as he can appeal. We need RBG on the SC.

Lung cancer is rarely survivable, even if you're in your 30s.
But they didn't say if the nodules were metastases from her pancreatic or colon cancers (which I would put good money on), in which case she is Stage IV and imminently terminal, especially because of her advanced age.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | December 22, 2018 1:49 AM |
They would not have performed surgery had it shown any signs of spreading. When my mother was diagnosed nearly 5 years ago they thought they could operate until they found it in her lymph nodes and other lung, she has been on combos of targeted meds and chemo ever since, and it spread to her liver but she is still kicking. RBG is a tough old broad, cancer these days is treated more like a chronic illness than a death sentence.

Supreme Court Justices don't have to recuse themselves from any case for any reason and don't have to say why. They don't a superior court to account to. A privilege abused too often.

Good point, R109. The statement is worded very carefully: “No further treatment is PLANNED.” That’s very different from no further treatment is NEEDED. Could well be that at her age she wouldn’t survive chemo so they’re choosing to forgo it.

Look. My cousin has lymphoma. She is 84. She's been dealing with it for 12 years. It is more of a chronic condition than a death sentence. She had her regular scan a few months ago and they found nodule in her lungs. She has refused anymore chemo. It damned near killed her six years ago. She's not a candidate for surgery. Once cancer spreads through your lymph system into the soft tissue it's very difficult to get rid of with surgery. The doctor is monitoring her. Every two or three months they scan and measure. Very slow growth. But if she wants to they will give her radiation to shrink it. She says she is fine. No pain, she tires. She rests. She is not on oxygen or anything. She's doing well. I suspect Justice Ginsberg has access to even better treatment than my cousin. who's just a retired utility company worker. The fact that they were able to operate on Justice Ginsberg tells me she is very strong and generally her health is very good. The broken ribs may have been a blessing because they were able to catch it. If they had not, then yes, six months more and maybe she would have been in a different situation.
by Anonymous | reply 124 | December 22, 2018 7:15 PM |
R124, I think the ribs breaking story was a ruse. The cancer has spread. Even if she is going to last a while, she will be too weak to remain on SCOTUS.

When a doctor says no further treatment is planned, either the patient has declined further treatment, or the doctor can't do anything else.

The optimism in this thread takes me back to '92 when Bush Sr. lost his re-election and we were all assured that Trickle Down Economics was dead and buried.

R129, true.
by Anonymous | reply 131 | December 22, 2018 8:09 PM |
Trump's tweet. She is not going to make it :(
by Anonymous | reply 132 | December 22, 2018 8:22 PM |
"Rumors abound that she is retiring early next year."
HA HA. RBG will never retire, you imbecile.
by Anonymous | reply 133 | December 22, 2018 9:27 PM |
I feel guilty . I don't want her to die, especially from cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 134 | December 22, 2018 10:01 PM |
Everybody seemingly interested with her death even when she's still alive. She's becoming the Betty White of politics.

[quote] HA HA. RBG will never retire, you imbecile.
There are other options
by Anonymous | reply 136 | December 26, 2018 8:19 PM |
She is not on the Bench today
by Anonymous | reply 138 | January 7, 2019 1:25 PM |
This is the first time she has missed oral arguments.
by Anonymous | reply 139 | January 7, 2019 1:26 PM |
She's still recovering and working from home. No need for concern.
by Anonymous | reply 140 | January 7, 2019 1:36 PM |
Politico is reporting this now: Bader missed opening arguments for the first time and the WH is consulting allies for a believed departure or death. This is not good
by Anonymous | reply 141 | January 11, 2019 2:37 AM |
Maddow just had a cancer surgeon who does this exact procedure all the time. He said we shouldn’t worry, the recovery is usually a few weeks, longer at her age.
by Anonymous | reply 143 | January 11, 2019 2:41 AM |
She should have left when Obama was in office. Why she didn't speaks volumes. It seems obvious her cancer has metastized. Do you think Maddow would ever tell the truth about her?
by Anonymous | reply 144 | January 11, 2019 2:44 AM |
R144 Obvious troll is obvious.
Larry King had the same thing done last year, he's still here.
by Anonymous | reply 145 | January 11, 2019 2:49 AM |
[quote] It seems obvious her cancer has metastized.
They caught the cancer very early as a result of seeing it on the x-rays from her fall. What is the point of jumping to a conclusion like that based on nothing more than rank speculation. She's working from home.
by Anonymous | reply 146 | January 11, 2019 2:51 AM |
Yes Virginia, you can get a lung cancer diagnosis at an early stage.
by Anonymous | reply 147 | January 11, 2019 2:53 AM |
Holy shit r148, I’m in a meeting so I can’t open that link, when the hell did they do that???
by Anonymous | reply 149 | January 21, 2019 4:35 PM |
This morning.
Fox & Friends apologized on Monday after briefly airing a graphic suggesting that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead.
by Anonymous | reply 150 | January 21, 2019 4:39 PM |
WOW. And how exactly would such a mistake be made? Was it on RussiaTV whatever their state channel is called? It feels like a veiled threat. I fucking hate them,
by Anonymous | reply 151 | January 21, 2019 4:49 PM |
Sounds like Fox is ready. Apparently they know some information you don't yet have.
by Anonymous | reply 152 | January 21, 2019 4:53 PM |
Care to elaborate r152?
by Anonymous | reply 153 | January 21, 2019 4:56 PM |
r148 I hate Fox News like any card-carrying liberal, but I'm sure a lot of media organizations prepare graphics and short blurbs for famous people who look like they might upchuck and die at any moment. It's no different from DL guessing which celebrity will die next to complete a triple.
by Anonymous | reply 154 | January 21, 2019 4:59 PM |
Of course r154, but what was the primary reason they thought she died TODAY, hmmmm?
by Anonymous | reply 155 | January 21, 2019 5:14 PM |
Fox is trying to subtly cause this lady stress, because the thought of death causes a lot of people untold stress. But I truly believe, as she has faced the possibility of it before, it will only galvanise her. I wouldn't be surprised if she hangs on till her mid 90s, but will probably retire under a Democratic president.
by Anonymous | reply 156 | January 21, 2019 5:31 PM |
I think that wasn't as much of a "mistake" as Fox made it out to be. She is either dying or dead. She's had about 50 different kinds of cancer. She hasn't been able to work in weeks. Sometimes you have to just admit when it's over! She really made a huge mistake in not retiring under Obama. Now we'll have to pay the price. :(
by Anonymous | reply 157 | January 21, 2019 5:44 PM |
Bingo r156, that’s exactly what they’re trying to do. They really are pieces of shit. She’s DEAD, oopsie!!!!
R157, you are blocked, bye-bye!
by Anonymous | reply 158 | January 21, 2019 5:45 PM |
R158, blocked for facing reality?
by Anonymous | reply 159 | January 21, 2019 5:46 PM |
Trumpism is a death cult. The filthy, vile, disgusting Trump cultist comments on this thread are further proof (as if any were needed).
by Anonymous | reply 160 | January 21, 2019 5:49 PM |
Hey r157 I don't know if you remember but there was a Supreme Court position open under Obama when Scalia died. Remember what happened with that?
Fuck Obama.
by Anonymous | reply 161 | January 21, 2019 5:51 PM |
Oh wow, she must not be doing well...
by Anonymous | reply 162 | January 21, 2019 5:54 PM |
R161 Obama nominated Merrick Garland, and McConnell refused to allow the Senate to interview him.
Do YOU remember?
by Anonymous | reply 163 | January 21, 2019 6:02 PM |
R163, that poster has no idea what they’re talking about.
by Anonymous | reply 164 | January 21, 2019 6:16 PM |
R161 = Mitch McConnell
by Anonymous | reply 165 | January 21, 2019 6:19 PM |
Rumblings I’m hearing from DC today is not good guys.
by Anonymous | reply 166 | January 21, 2019 6:50 PM |
It will be fucking Weekend at Ruthie's before Trump gets to appoint another Supreme Court justice.
by Anonymous | reply 167 | January 21, 2019 6:54 PM |
R166, what are you hearing? Is she already dead and they're trying to cover it up? Or is she really close to dying which is why Fox was already gleefully reporting it?
by Anonymous | reply 168 | January 21, 2019 6:55 PM |
Several days ago the same site that first said she had cancer now says she has pneumonia. The site is dismissed as a fake news source, but they nailed it about the cancer. So take it as you will.
by Anonymous | reply 169 | January 21, 2019 7:12 PM |
I fucking knew it! I knew she was gonna die of pneumonia. I said it in the other thread about her.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | January 21, 2019 8:28 PM |
[post redacted because linking to dailymail.co.uk clearly indicates that the poster is either a troll or an idiot (probably both, honestly.) Our advice is that you just ignore this poster but whatever you do, don't click on any link to this putrid rag.]
by Anonymous | reply 171 | February 15, 2019 2:44 PM |
Pics or it didn't happen. So far, she's "back" but no one has seen her or photographed her,
by Anonymous | reply 172 | February 15, 2019 2:54 PM |
So you think all those Conservative judges would collude in covering up for her r172. Get real!
by Anonymous | reply 173 | February 15, 2019 2:58 PM |
[quote]Friendly reminder that he actually lost by 3 million votes and only won by some fun electoral math.
Friendly reminder that Trump lost California by three million votes and he was denied that state's 55 electoral college votes fairly and squarely as a result.
That "fun electoral math" you refer to is what the real world call the rules that elect every President. You must be as thick-skulled as Robbie Mook if you think a simple nation-wide popular vote is the way the system works.

Honest question here. What if a Supreme Court justice dies but the story is put forward through the media that they're simply working from home while they recuperate from some surgery or accident in order to wait out a sitting president from replacing them? Not necessarily RBG. It could be any Supreme Court justice. Like, say this all happened in September of an election year. Could they stretch out the ruse a couple of months until after the election and then it would be too late for the sitting president to replace him/her? What's stopping this from happening? I can see someone trying it. Kind of like how relatives will cover up an aged relative's death in order to keep stealing her pension checks for as long as they can.
by Anonymous | reply 175 | February 15, 2019 3:06 PM |
R175, they buried RBG last month. The charade playing out in front of our eyes is even more elaborate than the Jussie Smollett hoax.
by Anonymous | reply 176 | February 15, 2019 3:08 PM |
Someone needs to ask McTurtle, now that the Democrats have begun the 2020 presidential campaign, is the Gorsuch Rule in effect?

RBG warned today that SCOTUS may be sharply divided over some of the “most watched” cases that remain, and said "the event of greatest consequence of the current term, and perhaps for many terms ahead" is the fact that Kennedy “announced his retirement," @Arianedevogue reports
by Anonymous | reply 185 | June 7, 2019 8:47 PM |
Yup, retiring under Trump is going to be Kennedy's greatest legacy, and I'm glad. He showed everyone his true colours when he did that.
