I never realized this.
Kimberly blowing up Melrose Place aired on 9/11/95

Season 3 was spectacular.

I believe Melrose Place is on Hulu. If so, this made me want to re watch this crazy loveable show.

What is the latest on Heather Locklear, and why is she still in a mental institution, or to put it bluntly....
WHAT THE FUCK WENT WRONG?!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 18, 2018 4:01 AM |
Have you ever done something like this to someone at work?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 20, 2018 12:55 AM |
R1 wasn't this Season 4?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 20, 2018 1:03 AM |
Great show. I loved Amanda and Kimberly.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 20, 2018 1:53 AM |
Waaaiiiit!!! It’s not what it looks like!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 20, 2018 2:00 AM |
I really need to watch this show.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 20, 2018 8:54 AM |
You should.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 20, 2018 9:22 PM |
I was 14 when Kimberly came back from the dead.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 20, 2018 9:55 PM |
I never saw this when it first aired. It was shown on satellite in the UK, and I went to university the summer after the explosion cliffhanger and asked my parents to record the new series and I'd pick them up when I came home over Christmas and then take them back so my flatmate and I could play the Melrose Place drinking game.
Anyway, they missed off the first half of the episode, so I never saw the explosion itself and only ever saw the aftermath. Fortunately someone eventually uploaded it to youtube, so I got to see it twenty years later.

Has anybody treated you like this at work before?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 22, 2018 3:48 AM |
Has anybody ever experienced this after a gay bashing?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 22, 2018 3:52 AM |
Marcia Cross and Doug Savant were really good...
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 22, 2018 4:10 AM |
R16 and they got to work together again on Desperate Housewives.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 22, 2018 4:20 AM |
Never forget
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 22, 2018 5:03 AM |
The show was eerily ahead of its time.
Who knows what other global foreshadowings are buried in there?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 22, 2018 6:36 AM |
Never knew the Twin Tower attackers were such Melrose Place fans!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 22, 2018 8:37 AM |
DAMN! I never grasped at the time just how sublimely HOT Doug Savant was in this show!!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 22, 2018 8:49 AM |
I was noticing how Matt was too. His skin is so smooth.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 22, 2018 1:49 PM |
*hot
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 22, 2018 1:50 PM |
LOL @ Kimberly to Matt:
"Oh I am much more than threats, little one.
You should know that by now."
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 22, 2018 2:19 PM |
Damn....Kimberly was so fucked up for getting a group of men to gay bash Matt!!!
And then poor bashed up Matt laying in hospital telling Kimberly... "IT WAS A HATE CRIME"
And Kimberly's evil response... "YOU BET YOUR BUTT IT WAS...I HATE YOU!!!"
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 22, 2018 2:53 PM |
Didn't they have something much bigger planned and then had to scrap it? I'm thinking because of Oklahoma City?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 22, 2018 2:54 PM |
R27, I think the episode was supposed to air on the day of the bombings, and TPTB had to reschedule the air date.
On September 11, 1995.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 22, 2018 2:59 PM |
I'm pretty sure it was intended to be the season cliffhanger in May with a big explosion but they cut the episode down to just Kimberly about to press the button.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 22, 2018 3:04 PM |
R29 is correct. It’s been a while since I’ve last watched the show’s E True Hollywood Story episode.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 22, 2018 4:21 PM |
Yes, they upped it because of the Oklahoma City bombing but they aired it on 9/11!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 22, 2018 5:15 PM |
Doug Savant is a cuteeeee!
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 22, 2018 7:28 PM |
What’s the story with Marcia Cross on Melrose in season 2? Did the writers always plan on bringing her back after they killed her off as a result of the car crash?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 22, 2018 7:32 PM |
It was a soap “nobody dies in soaps”.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 22, 2018 7:33 PM |
R34, tell that to Kristin Davis who played Brooke.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 23, 2018 1:26 AM |
Brooke could have come back.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 23, 2018 1:46 AM |
R33, I heard that they almost killed her off, even had a deathbed scene planned, but at the last minute decided to do the fake-out. When we're told that she was moved to another state and died there, it was already known that she'd come back.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 23, 2018 1:52 AM |
I wish they could have brought Kimberly back at the end. The last 2 seasons were terrible. The only reasons to watch were for Lexi Sterling and Kyle’s hunky brother

Melrose Place will forever be a favorite show of mine. It was deliciously cheesy and it was likely the genesis of my desire to move to LA (which I did a couple decades later in life). The first season was really brutal (that whole segue from tragic, campy 90210 love affairs into surprise!! - a brand new Spelling series). By season 2 Melrose had found its footing - most of us were hooked. The last few seasons were bad (as with most TV series) as most of the original cast had moved on and the plots were no longer worth caring about. The good seasons however were the most entertaining TV hours of the 1990's.

I think it hit its stride when Heather arrived late in season 1.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 25, 2018 12:01 AM |
When Alison saw Michael and Kimberly making out in the hospital parking lot—that’s when Melrose became Melrose.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 25, 2018 2:55 AM |
Have you ever done this to a frau who deserved it?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | January 18, 2019 8:05 PM |
Have you ever been down and then have someone make you feel even worse?

Has your colleague ever hired gay bashers to gay bash you so they can change the results of a psychological test?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 4, 2019 12:47 AM |
I guess there was no room for Rhonda and her cardio-funk after the first season...
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 4, 2019 1:32 AM |
I remember thinking that Savant was the best looking male cast member back in the show's heyday.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 4, 2019 1:34 AM |
Michael was so ruthless but the most gay friendly. He was ahead of his time.
