Do you know why?
Why is it attacking President Trump is not working for the Democrats?

Biggest house sweep in how many decades? Seems to working fine.

Comrade OP, I see Muriel let you pay for your DL membership with a Russian credit card.

Love the grammar in your title, Ivan.

I assume OP meant that Trump's base hasn't turned on him, in spite of the attacks on his character. My take is that everyone already expected that Trump was a crook and cheated on his taxes and dealt with the Russians, so for every revelation, it's kind of anticlimactic. For Fox viewers naïve enough to think he was a good guy... nothing short of seeing him taken out in handcuffs is going to convince them that he's guilty, and even then, they'll just believe that Trump was set up by the deep state

Trump’s base will never turn on him so there’s no hope in trying. His base is only 30% so we don’t need them to defeat him.
As many who dealt with such autocrats a Berlosconi in Italy suggest, when Trump runs for re-election, it’s more effective to point out policy failures than to just complain about Trump the man

Because Congressional Democrats haven’t tried it yet.
Wait until the House leadership is chosen, OP.

You can always tell people for whom English is not their native language.
There are always small tells in diction. It's just a bit precise and technically correct, yet lacks the more fluent conversational "sound" that native speakers have.
That and no one but a troll would EVER refer to the orange one as "President Trump" - we'd use "Trump" or one of the colorful nicknames, but never append the honorific.

The GOP’s relentless Benghazi attacks on Clinton changed people’s minds about Hillary. A congressional inquiry on Trump that doesn’t end will do the same for him

No Democratic candidates "attacked" Individual 1. They stressed plans for sane health care, jobs, budgets, taxes, immigration, and foreign relations. That's why they took control of the House in unprecedented numbers despite the well-documented election fraud Republican government officials have been engaged in for years. No one cares about Individual 1 anymore. In five years you won't be able to find anyone who will admit to voting for him. And in 10 years he'll be dead. In jail.

Pardon the former pee pee girl, Irina. She's embarked on a new career as a social media troll.
But those warm, golden showers of fulfillment she released upon an American realestate developer are so memorable.

The more you attack him, the more you cement in people's minds that Trump is being unfairly targeted by the media and special interest groups.

R12 Republicans aren't people and they'll believe irrational things no matter what.

I will give credit to OP for being smart enough to pose his question in the manner he did because it focuses most respondents on debating "success" or "failure" but requires all such discussion to agree that the Dems are, in fact, "attacking" him.
I categorically disagree.
The Dems are not attacking him. He is not the target or victim of attacks or a witch hunt.
There are no attacks.

Because they seem to forget the large numbers of voters from the 2016 election who hated BOTH candidates.
Watching the election returns late on election night, I was struck by the significant numbers of people who had chosen to reject the candidates of both of the major political parties.
Even today you can easily encounter people who were disgusted with their choices for that election.
And a lot of people who voted for Trump, never thought he would win (thanks to the incompetent media, none of whom were fired after their incredibly inept performance at "reporting" what was really happening). They chose someone they knew was a joke as a big middle finger to the 2 choices they were given.
