That's a curiously off-key and weird tweet by Eric Trump, given that George certainly doesn't attack Kellyanne herself and they're a married couple he should leave alone, but at least he's keeping his big gummy mouth closed in the picture.

I confess I find the thought of Jared riding a big cock in a dorm room at Harvard quite erotic.
But even better is him being spit-roasted in prison...

After they let the Flynn court documents go public tomorrow, is there enough medication in the world to sedate Donny enough for him to actually show up to Poppy Bush's funeral and be on his best behavior?

R24: people talk shit about Rachel all the time, but one thing we know is she's very very very very careful.
The Epstein/Trump connection is a floating rumor. A rumor that's been out there for decades, yes, but a rumor. Rachel does not traffic in rumors.
Now if someone in court ties President Shithole to Eptstein's parties that's another story.

The woman who says she was paid to collect the ballots
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 4, 2018 4:01 AM |
An absentee ballot witness said Monday that a Bladen County, N.C., electioneer paid her to collect absentee ballots from last month's midterm elections.
Ginger Eason told WSOCTV, a local news station in Charlotte, that Leslie McCrae Dowless, Jr. paid her between $75 and $100 to pick up completed absentee ballots for North Carolina's 9th District, the results of which are being officially investigated.
“I was helping McCrae pick up ballots,” Eason said to the news outlet, referring to the Bladen County Soil and Water Conservation District supervisor who appears to be at the center of the probe.
Eason added that she didn't see who people were voting for, but that she never mailed the ballots. Instead, she gave them to Dowless, adding that he did not mention to her that what she was doing was illegal.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 4, 2018 4:02 AM |
Ginger Eason is quite a woman.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | December 4, 2018 4:27 AM |
Once the absentee ballots were mailed to voters, Dowless used public lists of mail-in ballot recipients and sent his crew to collect them and promise to turn them in, Smith said.
“He would report to the campaign every day, ‘We got 50 today’ or ‘We turned in 60 today,’ ” said Smith, who fell out with Dowless after this year’s primary, when they supported different candidates for sheriff.

If they mention Trumps connection to Epstein, they'll have to mention Bill Clinton's connection too. I think Hills would rather that just go away. Wasn't she running for Pres in 2008? Having Epstein go away would in 2007 would have been very convenient, no?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | December 4, 2018 7:08 AM |
[quote] If they mention Trumps connection to Epstein, they'll have to mention Bill Clinton's connection too.
Epstein had connections to a lot of people, including Prince Andrew. In the end the Deplorables will have to, once again, defend Trump because he socialized with the Clintons and had mutual friends. That he was in that circle and yet declared to "Drain The Swamp!" a swamp he is part of.

by Anonymous | reply 73 | December 4, 2018 7:20 AM |
R71 here. I'm not a troll...just playing devil's advocate. Bill has been a big lead sinker for Hillary. If she didn't have to atone for Bill's sins, she might've been President of the US today! Staying with her husband costed her a lot, politically speaking. Women have doubts about her standing by a "abuser". Surely, you can't deny that.

by Anonymous | reply 78 | December 4, 2018 8:51 AM |
R76. Since you persist, I will answer. Question: Did you notice the quotation marks? It means it's an allegation that has been floated around by the media. I, personally, am not accusing Bill Clinton of anything.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | December 4, 2018 8:54 AM |
The problem is a lot of people don't know how to deal with their (repressed) feelings and emotions. They bottle them up and when they go online and mean to say "I politely disagree" they post instead "Die, you fucking CUNT! DIE IN A GREASE FIRE!!!!!!". And a lot of times it feels so good to finally let all that anger and frustration out. Like cumming after a longer period of not jerking off. It's the release of pressure that makes it so enjoyable. And people want to let go of more pressure that they feel is still inside them.

by Anonymous | reply 82 | December 4, 2018 9:15 AM |
No doubt, Bill Clinton's scandalous behavior was a liability for Hillary. I don't think anyone would argue that point. But unless there is something new to talk about I doubt his name will come up. I believe the media will leave Bill alone unless the court documents or the victims or the witnesses mention him. I think right now the worst thing the media can say about Bill is that he rode on that plane or that he knew Epstein. Epstein was friendly with a lot of people. He was a billionaire. Andrew is a different story. There are photos of him with very young girls, and there are photos of him with Epstein partying and out walking in the park. Will Trump's name come up? Doubtful. Unless there is a reason. Simply saying they knew one another isn't enough. To get some heat you have to put Clinton and/or Trump in Epstein's social orbit in a tangible way. Now a good investigative hit piece in Vanity Fair might do it, but the daily media will be too distracted to go there. IMO.

I know R84. Epstein cultivated those people and they certainly cultivated him. Billionaires have a lot of "friends." What's the point of having a lot of money if it doesn't open some doors. And the reverse is also true. What's the point of having all that power and celebrity if it doesn't open some doors and allow you to travel first class..

He's like the worst child in school whose expulsion is a de facto formality. The Principal is just biding his time for the right moment.

He also had the luxury of a completely corrupt Congress and Senate, R104. No criminal passes on that sort of 'permission' when all he has to do is sign whatever crap they want.

Epstein settled his court case this morning. There will be no trial.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | December 4, 2018 2:48 PM |
Was there ever a question about Epstein's case ever going forward? That man knows way too many people in high places and none of them wants that sort of attention. Settlement, case being dismissed, or Epstein having a tragic accident. That's what I thought it would go.

The emails of top officials at the campaign arm for House Republicans were stolen during the 2018 midterm election cycle, a spokesman confirmed to NBC News on Tuesday.
NBC News’ Pete Williams and Ken Dilanian reported in October that the Department of Homeland Security was working to identify who or what was behind an increasing number of attempted attacks on U.S. election databases in the runup to the midterms.

Blame dems/liberals/antifa who are targeting those innocent lambs OR b. to start laying ground work so they can "claim" that things were planted / changed in their emails ahead of All the kompromat coming to light against the dirty and complicit GOP

by Anonymous | reply 136 | December 4, 2018 7:30 PM |
R134, they could. But they'll be laughed out of town if they have no evidence, while there's ample evidence plus indictments that Russia hacked both sides in 2016 but decided to play for the GOP side, and who's to say they aren't doing the same thing vis-a-vis the Rethugs again. Kompromat material is useful also when not used publicly.
Of course, the deplorables believe Dems, progressives, antifa, etc. are the devil incarnate by default so they'll believe anything conspiracy theory talk radio and Trumpistan tell them. Didn't they invent the most absurd tale for deplorables' consumption - that the Dems hacked themselves and then killed Seth Rich and then lost the election to cover their tracks, or something of the sort?

Eric Trump mouthing off about George Conway is quite ridiculous. Kellyanne spins, distorts, filibusters, and utters a lot that defies the truth. However, she certainly does not need help from Eric in how to collaborate with her spouse. I am not sure Kellyanne is not complicit in George's communications. George is a prominent, successful attorney. Eric is goofy. George is throwing some hurt DJT's way, and the Trump clan doesn't like it.

How do we know Kellyanne or George aren’t cooperating with Mueller? Maybe that why she’s still there.

According to Cheri Jacobus’s twitter today George and Kellyanne are the authors of the Anonymous Op-Ed. Something about Kellyanne planning to have a career at CNN after the White House. All that nonsense with Eric Trump is just manufactured.

Mueller will file. He'll do it discreetly, but I doubt he will wait. In fact, I wish he'd filed it early today. Then the Media could have exhausted themselves talking about it, but at least Wednesday they could have stepped back while the funeral took place. If he drops it just before midnight, tomorrow we will be distracted between watching the funeral and covering the news. Plus Trump has closed all federal offices in D.C. tomorrow as a national day of mourning.

The special counsel faces a Tuesday deadline in Michael Flynn’s case to file a memorandum recommending a sentence and providing a federal judge with a description of how valuable the retired U.S. Army lieutenant general has been to the probe. The deadline comes ahead of Flynn’s Dec. 18 sentencing and more than a year after he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about reaching out to Russian government officials on Trump’s behalf.

Trump is the subject/target of Mueller’s investigation. It’s not like Flynn had no contact with Trump or didn’t know what Trump knew/said/did.

Here’s the thing. I paid attention to the section regarding sentencing. Mueller says that Flynn’s case is almost an extreme of both great mitigating factors combined with serious aggravated circumstances. He highlighted his 33 years of service in the military, 5 years in actual combat, etc. He also said, because of Flynn’s work in intelligence, he understood very well the seriousness of his actions and must be held to a higher standard. Mueller’s tone to me sounded like a clear, even-tempered weighing of the good and bad of this man’s life. Mueller is trying to say that all the good he did shouldn’t count as nothing, and the fact that he did step up immediately (once caught) should count too.
At the end of the day, Mueller’s plea for some mercy is simply a gesture — the judge may laugh at it. We don’t know. But Mueller made the gesture based of what is just when you look at the scope of Flynn’s life as a whole combined with his actions in this case. I DO respect and like this gesture — Americans are fair and just. Having said that, LOCK THE MOTHER FUCKER UP.

Whitaker is under investigation for that scam company he was in charge of. They're also looking at his "non profit" and the exorbitant amount of money he paid himself, money from dubious sources. He was supposed to be under review from the professional ethics division of the DoJ, "it's standard" and they have yet to issue his clearance. The Mueller probe remains under Rosenstein for the time being. at least this was true a week ago. That's why Mueller is working so fast. Now I doubt too much will get done between now and Christmas. I was especially impressed that even though Hanukkah has started, Mueller and his team are still working, grinding it out. I'm thinking Mueller will be wrapping things up by April.

I think Mueller is a hero! I have faith and confidence in him and his team. But honestly I was disappointed he recommended no time for Flynn. I keep seeing those video clips of Flynn leading the "Lock 'er up!!!" Chants at the rallies and the convention and I want to hurt that rat bastard. Then I consider that Flynn was high up in the chain of command and held some pretty important, pretty sensitive jobs under both Obama and Trump.
I know. He was removed by Obama who warned Trump about him. (!!!) But the thing is, this man wore the uniform. He was going to be our country's National Security Advisor. That is some seriously heavy shit. And there he was going behind our backs trying to get the sanctions lifted, and cutting secret deals, and then plotting to kidnap some cleric for the Turkish government. And he never ever seemed repentant either.
So when I read that he made a deal and cooperated, I just can't get over what a fucking whore he is. I'd like the Judge to say, "Well, Mr. Mueller, I know you're recommending no jail time, but I honestly believe based on this man's background, and his positions of trust, which he betrayed, I'm going to give him 18 months, because he cooperated. Because he deserves to go away for twenty years."
But I don't believe Flynn was in on the "Interfering with the election to defraud the American people." thing. I think he's a corrupt, treasonous bastard, but more in that he was trying to leverage his access to line his pockets and possibly Trump's pockets as well. I could be wrong. But fuck it.

Mueller had a job to do, he is capable of doing the job but for whatever reason, he will not do the job. All of our hopes for a country that would survive this president, are lost.
Breaks my heart since in November people voted to get rid if Republicans...it won't matter because there are too many traitors in high places, Putin has won and we will have to live with it.
We have put our faith in the wrong person.

These fucking trolls are ridiculous. And very transparent. Mueller is sending a message to counter act what Trump is doing. Trump really fucked with his investigation as far as Manafort is concerned. It didn't destroy the investigation, but it fucked up the negotiations and the cooperation with Manafort. Because with both Roger Stone Trump is obstructing and he is interfering with witnesses. He's also sending a huge message by firing Sessions. So Manafort and Stone believe they will get pardoned. To counter what Trump is attempting to do, Mueller is telling Trump (and Giuliani) that he will go very easy on people who cooperate, and he will burn people who fuck with him. Now Donald is not a dumb man. He is arrogant and corrupt, but not dumb. So he needs to understand if he keeps fucking around he is digging a deep hole for himself. If he cooperates he will have an easier time of it. Someone pointed out that the Flynn stuff and Manafort's sentencing all comes after Trump handed in his answers to Mueller's questions. At this point I'm betting Trump really believes Mueller "wouldn't dare" go after him. Hah. Please, Mueller, prove him wrong.

He will steal, sir, an egg out of a cloister: for rapes and ravishments he parallels Nessus: he professes not keeping of oaths; in breaking ’em he is stronger than Hercules: he will lie, sir, with such volubility, that you would think truth were a fool: drunkenness is his best virtue, for he will be swine-drunk; and in his sleep he does little harm, save to his bed-clothes about him; but they know his conditions and lay him in straw. I have but little more to say, sir, of his honesty: he has every thing that an honest man should not have; what an honest man should have, he has nothing.
by Anonymous | reply 371 | December 5, 2018 4:40 AM |
R367 what I disagree with is that anything got fucked up with Manafort. I really believe that they outsmarted him (not hard to do) and used him. I think they knew all along that Manafort is a lying liar who can't help himself. I think they used that to their advantage and made him believe they believed what he was selling so he could report that back to Drumpf. I think the end game was to try to get them convinced that their lies were believable and to get Drumpf to put those lies in writing. I think they got what they wanted.

Trump can't legally pardon a co-conspirator in a crime.
Has Mueller managed to name Trump as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Manafort case, or some investigation that might implicate his children that we don't even know about yet, a la Nixon in Watergate? A grand jury would have to have approved it (which Mueller would then have placed under seal).
I wonder...

It would be good if Mueller attends GHWB's funeral, and is captured by cameras say two rows behind Trump. Trump would know he's there, and would feel Mueller's presence for the entire service. Discomfort aplenty.
Delicious if the Bush family had quietly arranged such a set-up. The still photos from such a placing would of course have iconic historical value. Symbolically, the beginning of the end - attended by the entire US political Establishment.

by Anonymous | reply 398 | December 5, 2018 8:16 AM |
r391 Arabella doesn't mean little Arab girl. It's a common name primarily of Scotland and the British isles.
The name Arabella is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Arabella is: Derived from 'orabilis' meaning yielding to prayer. Famous bearer: Lady Arabella Stuart was cousin of King James VI of Scotland. Also ameaning beautiful, loving, lovable, graceful.
There aren't many restrictions on names for Jewish girls. Of course they could be Sarah, Ruth, Esther, Judith, Miriam. But they could also be anything else - Julia, Amalia, Lilian, Helen, Jessica, Jennifer, Susan, Debra, etc. It's a normal Jewish tradition that a baby be named after someone recently deceased in the family. But it's not a requirement.
by Anonymous | reply 399 | December 5, 2018 8:27 AM |
Whatever Miss Nancy said, it was a come-to-Jesus talk on par with Ned Beatty's chilling jeremiad in Network.
Because one day Marcia Fudge was all, I'm ready to be speaker — and the very next, she was telling TV cameras, 'Nancy told me what the position would entail ... like rarely seeing my family ... and I have a lot to think about.'

by Anonymous | reply 403 | December 5, 2018 8:41 AM |
This really is a chess match.
Mueller recommending greatly reduced (or no) jail time is an inducement to get compromised insiders to tell the truth about their fellow co-conspirators.
Trump dangling pardons is an inducement to get co-conspirators to lie.
However, if Trump is himself an unindicted co-conspirator, he can’t pardon his partners in crime.

[quote]I would love to know more about how Germany healed after the Nazis — we would be very wise to follow their lead. The fact that they came back from that is one of the great social triumphs of the modern age.
They didn’t do if alone. They had help from the rest of Europe and, most importantly, the US. If the US is the disgraced nation this time out, who is the shining example to lift us up? I genuinely don’t know.
But most significantly, after WWII, Germany had the decency to be ashamed. Unlike the American South after the Civil War, they didn’t commemorate their actions with flags and statues. They didn’t take pride in their evil. They hung their heads and accepted blame. Do any of us think the Deplorables will do that?

R407 It's not like the government ever ignores its own rules when it wants too, like say that James Comey letter that flipped the election to Individual 1. It'll take a Supreme Court decision to actually settle the question of indicting a sitting president.
Also, this decision was actually made in 2000. Obama didn't take office until 2009, and the linked PDF appears to be the unaltered original. The update in 2014 doesn't have anything to do with the decision itself.
This was NOT issued under Obama.

If Flynn's cooperation does the unthinkable and Trump gets dragged out of the White House in cuffs then I gladly accept Flynn not doing prison time. Also the optics of someone who cooperated getting no jail time is too good for anyone to ignore. If the judge goes along with Mueller's suggestion (no jail time) I bet Mueller's dance card will be full within minutes of Trump's minions turning on Trump, including his own family.
by Anonymous | reply 417 | December 5, 2018 12:58 PM |
Men went to prison for Watergate; many men, including the most co-operative, John Dean (4 months).
Mueller is being misguidedly and tragically lenient in these cases, IMO. We are talking about defrauding the United States in corrupt collusion with our enemy Russia, about aiding and abetting the theft of the Presidential election, FGS---an act of treason, if not actual war.
About men who actively sought to incite the rabble to imprison a political opponent. About men who avariciously sought to enrich themselves in backroom deals trading American Foreign Policy for money and contracts to make more money.
About men who dangerously sought to break up NATO, withdraw from treaties, and enable Russian invasions of sovereign nations.
And none of the above even considers the destruction of the American Middle-Class via the historic wealth transfer Tax Law; the disastrous trade embargoes' effects on American manufacturing, farming, and consumption; and the Usual Gang of Suspects that Republicans think they need to eliminate: Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Republicans have done nothing to help the United States 99.9% citizenry since, well, since GHWB and the ADA.

After all, the tRumps are such trash, they are not worth wasting bullets on. We should give the state treatment to every adult tRump (maybe Tiffany could live since all the rest of them treat her like shit anyway).
Is tRump afraid of the American people? Is he so paranoid that he thinks someone would assassinate his dumb ass if given a chance? He may be scared of all the other people who are compromised along with him...Who knows, the fucking rethuglicans might just arrange to have him wacked in a desperate attempt to stymie the whole investigation. by Anonymous | reply 462 | December 5, 2018 3:30 PM |
I’m sure it’s been said upthread, but can you imagine how Manafort must be feeling seeing Mueller's virtual pardon of Flynn?
by Anonymous | reply 463 | December 5, 2018 3:30 PM |
"...(1) an investigation of "interactions between the [Trump] transition team and Russian campaign officials," including the dealings of Flynn and potentially others with Kislyak over sanctions; (2) Mueller's core "investigation concerning any links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald J. Trump;" and (3) another mystery case."
I vote: 1) Easing Russian sanctions and WATCH YOUR BACK, Pence!; 2) Coordination with Russia for disinformation campaign and WATCH YOUR BACK, Pence, Stone, et el; and 3) Money Laundering. WATCH YOUR BACK Trump!
by Anonymous | reply 464 | December 5, 2018 3:31 PM |
I want Manafort to go to prison for life but I am afraid they will release him with time served on Friday. It upsets me to see these bastards get off Scott free but I have to accept the truth of it.
Don Jr., Jared, Ivanka, Miller, Nunes....none of them will be bothered. If they put the sleezebag, Stone away, that would be something...maybe he will be their one sacrafice?

R406, I think that it depends on what is uncovered. IMO, Mueller has written his indictments with a great deal of specificity. He gives names, dates and swhat they did, to explain why he is charging them. So, if he does charge Trump, if he indicts him, that indictment will explain in the tiniest detail why he is being charged It will be very speicific, dates, names, conversations quoted, etc.and list the crimes in very specific terms. If, after all of that, the Supreme Court rules t hat he can't be indicted...until he is tried in the Senate, then they will lose so much credibility.

More Repub Slime...,
The Wisconsin Senate voted early Wednesday to pass a sweeping measure designed to empower the Republican-controlled Legislature and weaken the Democrat replacing Republican Gov. Scott Walker.
Republicans worked through the night amid late protests, internal disagreement and Democratic opposition to the measures, which are designed to reduce the powers of incoming Democratic Gov.-elect Tony Evers and Democratic Attorney General-elect Josh Kaul.
The measure passed 17-16 with all Republicans except one in support. All Democrats voted against it. The Assembly was expected to pass the bill later Wednesday, sending it on to Walker for his consideration. Walker has signaled support.

R546, when the Trumps sat down next to the Obamas, both Obamas said “Good morning,” shook their hands and sat down and proceeded to ignore them. Clinton barely acknowledged them, Hils looked straight ahead. Even Cheney in the second row behind them turned his head.
Trump spent the time with his arms crossed defensively over himself. When it came time to read a prayer from a piece of paper, all the others did it but not the Trumps. They held their paper copy down by their sides.

I believe the rumors that Jared is cooperating. Part of what was revealed in the paperwork last night was that Flynn caused other people to flip. I would guess that that includes Jared and Sessions. I'll bet neither of them will do jail time.

Kavanaugh is probably one of the ones shitting himself right now, especially if theres anything to the Kennedy stories....Gorsuch is pretty safe.

[quote]How does this guy sleep at night?
Really looks like he doesn't. And mental illness just isn't helping like it always has done.

I hope the rumor about Pence hiring a plea deal lawyer is true.
Here’s the deal: resign, get out of politics and never come back. Who cares about Pence really? Just get him and the other collaborators out if there.
In the end, the WH will be empty due to plea deals. All the “loyal” minions will have made a deal with Mueller and will be off writing their books or whatever.
Meanwhile, Trump will he rattling around alone in the empty WH talking to the Presidental portrait of Nixon.

If Pence is in any real danger, he will turn on Trump and the whole Trump family faster that you can say "Mother!"

R576 establishment repubs would love nothing more than to have Pence as president. He'd be more conservative and backwards than Bush.
Either Pence is a good actor or he's not concerned. He's been looking and acting rather confident lately in public

R576, I care about Pence being held accountable. Enough with the rice and powerful getting off with a slap on the hand. There are people doing long sentences for voting twice, smoking weed and petty crimes.

R572 Wow, Fux is calling Flynn, a Democrat, a good man?!?

Karen Pence must be ready to kill Trump right now. There's no love lost between those two. I wonder if they've made phone calls to Mueller's office that have gone unreturned?

R580 Laura Ingraham did last night...I saw a clip. it's hard to believe she has a law degree and was a lawyer once

Hey. I watched Pence this morning and he was "hosting" at the cathedral. He made sure to greet and shake hands with all the high profile VIPs. and he was chatting up McConnell too. There was nothing retiring or nervous about him. But when Trump entered, he was in his seat looking like a robot. Something is up, because Trump didn't even look at him, acknowledge him or speak to him. Not once.

A Pence Refresher.
This article from 2017 is getting a big bump today on Twitter.

R584, I really noticed that when he made his speech at the lying in state or someplace. Pence was acting conspicuously like he was the President. But humble and less pompous than he usually is. More genuine. I didn’t know he even had a “genuine” switch.
When he said “this good man” like he always says about Trump, I wanted to puke. It’s like that’s the only thing he knows how to say.

Stepford Pence got an upgrade.

What all do you think was said/went on in the second row?
Stepford Pence & Mother, Potatoe Man & wifey, Darth Cheney and the authoress of lesbian erotica, the Bidens and lonesome Al Gore.

R588 the second row was the fun row.

[quote] Lets hope that the Mueller info embargo is because he is taking out Trump AND Pence at the same time.
That would be appropriate. Why should it be a repeat of Nixon -- Agnew -- Ford -- Rockefeller? If Mueller knows that tRump and Pence cheated their way into the WH, then neither one of them should not have ANYTHING to say about who becomes the new President.
Both should resign at the same time and let the Speaker of the House become President of the United States. It would serve all those fucking deplorables right if it were to be Nancy Pelosi.

I guess I'm just more bloodthirsty than I'm allowed to be here.

This is going to sound sanctimonious -- and I don't care -- but good lord, there was a lot of bitterness in this particular thread. Trolls? Or just people who over-anticipated what would happen yesterday?
by Anonymous | reply 594 | December 5, 2018 8:43 PM |
I think there's a chance that Flynn wore a wire his last days at the White House.
by Anonymous | reply 595 | December 5, 2018 8:44 PM |
Remember....PENCE WAS THE VERY FIRST TO LAWYER UP. Sorry, but hes either guilty as sin, or he knows something and covered up for it. I suspect he knew what Flynn was up to, as well as what the Trumps were up to. Everyone involved is dirty...EVERYONE...and there is no way Manafort "picked" Pence and Pence is clean.
by Anonymous | reply 596 | December 5, 2018 8:49 PM |
R584, aside from everything else going on, I'm sure Pence is well aware Trump was "asking questions" about Pence's loyalty.
