WESTLIFE - New Music and a Reunion Tour in 2019
The inevitable has happened. The lads of Westlife have agreed to reunite for their 20th anniversary. Brian McFadden is still sitting out the opportunity to rejoin the group.
Solo work didn't approach the success the boys achieved together. There was no Justin Timberlake-level breakout talent from this group.
Mark Feehily apparently has a 4+ year relationship with his current boyfriend, but this one is staying out of the limelight.
Reuniting worked well for Take That. Is there as much interest in seeing these boys back together?

Brian is doing a tour with Boyzone in 2019 instead. At least he is working.

Internationally their cover of Uptown Girl seems to be the highest charting in the most countries.
They did a lot of covers.

Brian is such a laugh and a good sport, and seems like he’s got the drinking more under control. It’s harsh of the other four to deny him a return; yeah, they did a decade of records/touring without him, but arguably they might not have got that far in the first place if he hadn’t started with them. He used to be close to them as a kid so it has to hurt that they disavow him totally now.
At least he’s got Gemma Collins for company, eh...
