Where's the hotness that was Mr. George Eads?

I wonder if it was an altercation with the insatiably dull Lucas Till.

I hate dealing with the Jews as well George,but you have to keep control or that tribe won't give you any more work. The Jews are upset that their leader Harvey Weinstein has had consequences for his jew-behavior and are going to lash out whenever they can.

He deleted his instagram a few weeks back. That's the end of his career.

I think he got along well with Lucas Till. Rumors are, this Macgyver looks like it will be cancelled after its current 2nd season regardless of Eads or no. Ratings aren't great.

If it gets cancelled maybe Bon Jovi will give his son Lucas Till a job as his personal assistant or business manager.

He signed as co-star but became just a supporting character.

Yeah, George's excuse about being near his daughter in L.A. was bunk. MacGyver was always going to shoot in a state with tax incentives. (BTW, it was originally going to be shot in Portland. The unbroadcast pilot was filmed in L.A., but everyone knew it would be moved if it was picked up to series.)

Also, George was always #2 on the call sheet. He was also paid a lead's salary and was featured on all promo material. It wasn't until the current season when his role was reduced, as well as his character's interaction with Mac (ex-roomie Lucas), a stable of the series.

I'm surprised they have managed to keep details of his on set "altercation" under wraps.

I haven't watched it since the beginning of first season, so maybe it has improved, but for what should be a popcorn show with likable characters - they were not. MacGyver was a little too good to be true and more smug rather rather than having a likable good-natured charm. Eads, who does look good for 50 and maybe better than he did the end of CSI acted as if he was a 20 year old college student. They needed a better balance between the two characters and instead you got a lot of two characters who were full of themselves and trying to out macho each other. It did not help that the lead really did not seem he could do all of the things he could do and have all of the training he did at whatever age he is.

I bet Macgyver will probably be cancelled after the current season 3. Isn't cbs all about Magnum P.U as their main crime/action show now?

Good for George finally keeping the weight off after his back problems that chubbed him for years in late CSI. Exciting he's in a Megan Fox movie.

I don't expect him to break out or be any bigger of a star. He's too old and has enough millions (reportedly $13-15 mil).

He's being replaced by an actress named Levy Tran, who recurred on Haunting of Hill House. Since they no longer have to pay Eads his substantial salary, I thought they'd at least go with someone who had name recognition.
