I've had a real fondness for Wood, but it's just occurred to me--why did she go back to that loser? Self-punishment? Repetition syndrome (" I'll do it until I get it right ")? With all the guys available to her, even discounting the fags, makes no sense.

Seems like it almost has to be Christopher Walken. That would explain a lot about his behavior since Natalie's death. If it is him, he wouldn't want to reveal what he knows about what Wagner did that night because then it would come out that they were having an affair. That would also explain the loud argument Wagner and Natalie were having. If it is Walken, then all this makes sense. If it's not Walken then I have no idea who it is.

I've said this before and so have others. If Natalie was married to Wagner she would have certainly known he was gay. So encountering him with Walken would not have been particularly shocking. Certainly not enough to fall off a yacht. My guess is they were all prohibitively drunk.

Well that would explain why he killed her.
