She was very good in 1922 on Netflix, seems to work regularly but hasn't really broken out.

R2 - I have not seen 1922. Will check it out.

She was in a film in the '90s where she played a woman who had sex with corpses.

Which one was that R4?

She's human. Or at least humanoid.
Sometimes she's reptilian but only during molting season.
She has a stuffed hedgehog that she carries with her to auditions for luck.
She used to date a vampire named Dave. I think he died in some freak tanning bed accident. She testified before congress and now we have Dave's Law.
When she was a teenager she decided to set the world's tapping dancing record. She started in Winnipeg and made it all the way to Saskatoon. Didn't break the world's record but I think she still has first place in the teen division.
Oh, wait, I'm confusing her k.d. lang. Would k.d. lang date a vampire named Dave? Maybe it was Eve. Eve's Law.
Yeah, that sounds about right.

I’ve only really seen her on House of Cards, where her lovely curvaceous figure was showcased in dresses.

It's called Kissed, r5.

Was compelling in a 90s TV movie, Intensity. Loved her as the rabbi on 6FU. The kinky movies with Peter Sarsgaard and the necrophilia did less for me, but she's always compelling.

R7 - You should watch Deadwood.

She was weird yet I loved her in Swing Town, that series was gone too soon

I only saw the first two episodes of Swingtown. I should give that another chance.

How is Molly doing in the fire? Did she evacuate?

I adore her, and she should be a bigger star, but she is a solid, consistently great character actress who has a tendency to choose offbeat projects. She is the Canadian equivalent to Chloë Sevigny.

Swing Town was an excellent series but it had a major and unnecessary flaw. They structured the show like the Ice Storm where the adult plotline you tuned in to watch was interrupted every few minutes to look how the lifestyle was affecting the college age daughter and the high school son.
Molly was excellent but the attention deficit disorder editing was madding and made the show a chore to watch..

Too many freckles.

Sorry, but there’s something about her that rubs me the wrong way. Smug and smirky.
But she can act.

I don't find her smug to be honest--she seems sweet to me.

She is way prettier than Julianne Nicholson, R20. I remember first seeing her in the TV movie "Intensity," based on the Dean Koontz book. I was young when it came out, but remember watching it and thinking it was really good. She had her breakout in "Kissed," where she played a necrophiliac med student—a pretty offbeat flick to make your first big splash with. She was fantastic in it though.
