They said the next one would be bullying, and then the environment, and then aliens (that they are real).

The truth won't be too far off in our future as our science discoveries start to build momentum off of each other. Until I reached 27 this child athiest never experienced anything paranormal so I always considered people with their personal experiences as mental. Same with the UFO tales. I've never experienced anything alienish but a lot of mentally stable people would recount their tales with friends or siblings who would back it up. Watching alien encounter shows on cable for a good ten years and then delving into quantum mechanics deeply, then astrophysics convinced me of what has really been going on. There's just too many stories jibing on alien being sightings concerning "the greys" and the cattle mutilations that just reek of human beings. Stinks to high heavens literally. You know I'm the archeology loon so you can surmise where I'm going with this.
Just fast forward human evolution. Go back to our early selves when we resembled apes. Look at us now. Take this progression into the future. Imagine human physical characteristics as we evolve. Just taking the need for hair as we evolve into consideration.
What did you come up with?
I'll share my theories on the cattle mutilations after I return from chores.

I'll go easy on the NA troubles of mixed celebrities who present as one singular race. Ardent defender of the true state and resiliency of the American populace reminding them they've turned some sour lemons into an artesian sparkling lemonade. Reminding North Americans that they have raised the global standard of beauty to unattainable surreal levels never seen anywhere else on the planet by mixing and melting it up. Commodities, people. It'll all work out. The cat always lands on her feet.
I am the one
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 8, 2018 4:49 AM |
R11, the truth is right here. Educate yourself in physics and human evolution. Start logically deducting.
Plain as the nose on your face which will finally shrivel in size as your race evolves into the future. Your eyes will evolve larger in proportion. We won't require big gnashing teeth so your mouth will shrink in proportion to your skull which will expand to encase a larger brain. No need for head or body hair like our early ancestors. Fur fades off with evolution. Bodies to withstand space travel. We'll just breed ourselves selectively to meet all of our needs.
We're gonna be one ugly motherfucker 😂
Kinda like a reflection of the hundreds of witness reports who all just happen to describe this freak..

Einstein's theory of relativity is proving to be indisputable as we expand our knowledge re: TOE (theory of everything). Time, space, are pointing to the ability to collapse these two dimensions so we eventually conquer time travel. Probably switching on/off magnetic pull to zip effortlessly throughout the cosmos. Most likely. High probability this is how we manage to pull off these stunts.
I believe at some point while we're existing in another dimension in colonies not too far from mother earth we screw up at recreating stock molecular base particles and end up with diluted, inferior product of plant/animal/human dna building blocks. To err is human, right?
The solution is to go back in time and procure pure, unadulterated specimens in which to reproduce proteins of plant or animal, even earlier ancestor DNA.
There's your reason for cattle mutilations. Not familiar with human abductions or veracity regarding crop circles. But if there's lots of reports of cattle being found dead with extracted DNA then it could only be us going back to the past to harvest material. Creeping and sneaking around scaring the bejeesus out of our ancestors who happen to catch us in such acts. If Roswell aliens did exist that would then be us miscalculating an exit in the not so distant future and most likely evolved majority asian stock retaining the stereotype of crappy drivers into infinitum 😅
If someone here could point to a credible source focusing on cattle mutilations after strange lights were seen in the sky then please, hook us up with links.
It's so us.

Most scientist find the claim that the Harvard folks made as unsubstantiated. It's conjecture based on very shaky data and a lot of wishful thinking.
That said, I do believe life has evolved on other planets and there is intelligent life out there. What I also have begun to believe more and more is that ascribing human motivations to other beings is a mistake and that exploration and curiosity to find other inhabited worlds may not be a universal goal. More likely, if others find us, it will be very bad for us. Though the reality is that the standard sci fi trope of wanting resources on our planet is equally silly since the majority of materials found on earth are more abundant in space and less tedious to obtain if you don't have to deal with pesky humans.
What more troubling is that the explanation of the Fermi paradox may signal very bad news for us. The reason we haven't come across other intelligent life may be that the stages through which a civilization must travel have a gating mechanism that the majority fails. Now,that's fine if we've already passed it. But, looking at climate change, pollution, and war, we may not have passed that gate yet - in which case we may be on the road to our our destruction, like countless civilizations before us.

R23 you're an uneducated fool. You've recently taken an adult creative writing course 101 and like to hear yourself talk utilizing flowery language and esoteric verbiage.
You lack the ability to logically deduct because unlike you, I actually attended law school and spent some of my younger years preparing for that bitch of an LSAT exam. Spare time reading Stephen Hawkins, The Elegant Universe, Gordon Kane's Supersymmetry and published works of Ed Whitten. Second undergraduate degree in Anthropology. Graduate degree Political Science International Relations. Sold two start ups for millions. Throw in becoming a violin virtuoso in my mid twenties switching over from piano. World renowned designer in an art form industry, I'm presently on my way to revolutionizing two industries. Patenting cure for a communicable cat disease with backing for trials from a vet and a pharmacologic PhD.
I don't waste my days even while laid up and recovering from a spinal injury.
Had no idea about Harvard theories because the theory of aliens being our advanced evolved selves fits like a glove if you study evolution, anthropology and archeology.
Delving into astrophysics puts the idea to bed that the likely hood of another intelligent life form in our universe capable of traveling to our neck of the woods is infinitesimal at best.
You're always contradicting any thoughts, expertise and theories I put out here for our community to ponder. Your poor grasp of the art of debate backed with inability to form cohesive arguments lacking a logical equation ends with you FFing and blocking my posts.
It's us sitting on the diving board enjoying a cocktail and smoke while your last breaths bubble to the surface escaping your dying carcass splayed in the deep end of the pool. Not one clear thinking, mentally stable member ever dives in to rescesitate your useless corpse.

The theory that the cigar-shaped object is a probe from aliens was written by Harvard scientists. I was merely opining on that from the link on OP's post.
The explanation for the Fermi paradox, that civilizations must pass through gating events in their development and the reason we haven't seen alien civilizations though many ought to exist is that most fail to pass the gate, is one of many theories to explain the paradox. There are of course, others. The issue of traveling to our planet is secondary to the question of whether there would be evidence of other civilizations or life in the galaxy.
I never said anything about "animal, plant and DNA building blocks are just available on any planet or satellite out the." Evidence of liquid water on Mars in the past is sufficient for me to believe that the potential for life of some sort exists on other planets. Could it violate currently known laws of physics, probably not. But, I am not sufficiently arrogant to believe that I can predict all scientific breakthroughs and discoveries that might be made over the course of hundreds of years. And given the relative young age of our own star and the scale of years we're discussing, a few hundred thousand years of evolution is nothing.
I'm glad that you feel your bona fides make you an expert in this field if extraterrestrial life. Certainly doesn't improve your reading comprehension skills or make you any more rational - or even how to figure out who is responding to you in a message board thread. Nor, frankly does it seem to have given you sufficient wherewithal to recognize that I wasn't even directly addressing your responses, only providing my own points on the "Mysterious cigar-shaped interstellar object may be alien spacecraft: Harvard researchers." And no, you do not benefit from any halo effect from having "backing for trials from a vet and a pharmacologic PhD" - I can direct you to a host of the silliest patents ever given, not pending, by the USPTO. Ben Carson was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, but that doesn't make him an expert on HUD issues, either.
Also, your actual education is in humanities, not any relevant science field, no matter how advanced your degrees may be in those fields. You attended law school - did you actually graduate from a top tier one? Spent time preparing for the LSAT - that's not really an issue unless you tell us your score, and even then, not particularly relevant to your assessment of space travel. But, glad you hit Barnes and Noble and read a couple books on the subject. I prefer Michio Kaku's books myself. He's a bit more entertaining.
Finally, the biggest flaw in your unhinged screed is that the notion that previously encountered "aliens" are future humans is NOT mutually exclusive to their being other life and civilizations in the galaxy (I'll limit it to galaxy since the ever-growing distance between galaxies makes travel between them unrealistic, even for a type II (or even type III) civilization on the Kardashev scale).
The weirdest part of your attack on me is that my premise, that the Harvard researchers made unsubstantiated claims on the "alien" origins of the so-called "cigar-shaped probe" actually supports, more than refutes, your position.
Cheers.

No, I read r27.
"Sorry you're stupid, and you're still wrong, my own error in misidentifying you notwithstanding" does not militate against the original monstrous errors in fact, reasoning, or reading made and certainly are no apology for those errors or lack of civility.
It demonstrates both a lack of attention to detail and flawed reading and reasoning skills that undermines the vaunted caliber of intellect insisted upon by the list of bona fides. In turn, such misreading undermines the entirety of all the other arguments presented as they are based on his now questionably flawed reading of well-known scientists like Stephen Hawkins (sic?).
Talk about not having logical reasoning skills.
Thanks for playing. Y'all come back now, y'hear.

I had two very vivid dreams of floating over the sky at night, landing in a room full of scared folks just like me. I can see the night sky, I can see above the trees, I can see myself floating over a small city wondering what's happening but not being scared. I guess I felt indifferent.
Then I recall a woman in her underwear hiding inside a truck scared shirtless. This happened in what seemed in a small town. I do remember her being barefoot and in her underwear cowering in the front seat of a truck. Then all of a sudden I land somewhere near the ground very slowly and softly about 25 feet from the truck. I can then see the door of the truck just coming off like in a movie, it just flies off and I can see her terror as she is found.
And that is all I remember. It's odd and much too vivid. I told myself it was just a dream but I've told two people now and they both agreed its unsettling what I told them. I feel like I should try to get a therapist to hypnotize me...
