Newlyweds die in helicopter crash

Who’s getting their stuff? Unopened wedding presents. Sweet!

The bride's mother will probably keep everyything because the bride's mom is usually a grade A cunt.

by Anonymousreply 1November 5, 2018 4:12 PM

You both deserve to rot in Hell, Datalounge or no Datalounge.

by Anonymousreply 2November 5, 2018 4:14 PM

Breeders? Who cares.

by Anonymousreply 3November 5, 2018 4:15 PM

Too soon, R2?

by Anonymousreply 4November 5, 2018 4:16 PM

How much did they have to drink at the reception?

by Anonymousreply 5November 5, 2018 4:19 PM

His beady little eyes give me the creeps.

[quote]You both deserve to rot in Hell, Datalounge or no Datalounge.

Oh fuck off and pee in the alley, I said.

by Anonymousreply 6November 5, 2018 4:20 PM

We also had threads about the couple that died in a helicopter crash that was recorded from inside the copter, r2, so I assume you told everyone to go to hell then as well? Or are you just cranky today?

by Anonymousreply 7November 5, 2018 4:20 PM

Christ, the pilot probably died of old age en route. He was as old as dirt. You couldn't pay me to ride in a helicopter, far too dangerous.

by Anonymousreply 8November 5, 2018 4:25 PM

Sad.

How much did they spend on the wedding?

by Anonymousreply 9November 5, 2018 4:25 PM

Saves them the eventual cost of divorce attorneys.

by Anonymousreply 10November 5, 2018 4:26 PM

It was dark outside. One report said that the pilot radioed for assistance prior to the crash; another report said the helicopter crashed into a hill. Helicopters are dangerous. If you want to make your wedding special, why not just hire a limo?

by Anonymousreply 11November 5, 2018 4:28 PM

I hope they didn't vote early (you know they were Republicans).

by Anonymousreply 12November 5, 2018 4:28 PM

That'll work...

by Anonymousreply 13November 5, 2018 4:30 PM

They just had to show off by leaving in a helicopter.

by Anonymousreply 14November 5, 2018 4:30 PM

She was an agricultural communications major. Let’s imagine her future tweets: “There’s a bright golden haze on the meadow.”

by Anonymousreply 15November 5, 2018 4:33 PM

If you cast your vote early and then die before Election Day, does the vote still count?

The guy is in hunting gear and is probably a deplorable. If they were dems then I totally feel sorry for them.

by Anonymousreply 16November 5, 2018 4:38 PM

They lived on ranches, the best way to get out of an isolated ranch is a helicopter.

Very sad.

by Anonymousreply 17November 5, 2018 4:47 PM

Why was he wearing hunting gear on his wedding day? I swear it’s like these people think “what if somebody doesn’t know that I am a red neck for one day? Can’t have that!”

by Anonymousreply 18November 5, 2018 4:48 PM

He wasn't . That was their engagement photo.

by Anonymousreply 19November 5, 2018 4:51 PM

An isolated ranch? They have roads. This was pure showboating. After all, have to have something to post online.

by Anonymousreply 20November 5, 2018 4:52 PM

LOL @ R15

by Anonymousreply 21November 5, 2018 4:54 PM

The fates were punishing them for having a cash bar.

by Anonymousreply 22November 5, 2018 4:58 PM

Dead deplorables? We should be celebrating

by Anonymousreply 23November 5, 2018 5:10 PM

Yep, the wages of Trump sin. Hitler couldn't have done what he did without the support of millions of Deplorables.

by Anonymousreply 24November 5, 2018 5:20 PM

At least she never had to find out he was gay.

by Anonymousreply 25November 5, 2018 7:16 PM

They looked like brother and sister.

by Anonymousreply 26November 5, 2018 7:29 PM

Did it crash right after taking off, in front of all the guests?

by Anonymousreply 27November 5, 2018 7:30 PM

Or maybe she'd just found out R25.

The secretly gay (and in love with him) best man sent her the link to his Grindr profile and she killed them all in a fit of rage, sending them plunging to their fiery deaths.

by Anonymousreply 28November 5, 2018 7:30 PM

The family has requested donations to the NRA in memory of their 2 angels. And thoughts and prayers.

by Anonymousreply 29November 5, 2018 7:32 PM

I am sorry to report the bride was indeed a deplorable.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 30November 5, 2018 7:36 PM

They said it would be the thrill of a lifetime, and as it turned out, it was!

by Anonymousreply 31November 5, 2018 7:36 PM

They never fought once the entire time they were married.

by Anonymousreply 32November 5, 2018 7:39 PM

Old Gramps was the pilot..maybe he had a health "scare" enroute."

by Anonymousreply 33November 5, 2018 7:41 PM

RIP.

by Anonymousreply 34November 5, 2018 7:42 PM

I have a good friend who has been obsessed with airplanes since he was a kid; he has a pilot license, flies tiny prop planes, and always makes fun of me for having flight anxiety (I'll fly commercial in a jet with the help of a drinkie-poo or a xannie, but would never fly in one of those tiny Buddy Holly/Patsy Cline planes).

Despite all of this, even my friend says he would never set foot in a helicoptor. Too many moving parts, too much can go wrong, they are more challenging to fly, and if something serious goes wrong, they just drop like a rock. A malfunctioning airplane can at least function as a glider and you can survive a plane crash. In a helicoptor, you're just gonna drop straight down.

They're fucking dangerous, and people who get into them like this for showboating reasons are as stupid as smokers, barebackers, and people who ride motorcycles without helmets. Combined.

Darwin wins again.

by Anonymousreply 35November 5, 2018 8:28 PM

What is agricultural communications? Do you learn to improve communications among bovines? What the hell is it?

by Anonymousreply 36November 5, 2018 8:34 PM

Frau was cute. Rip

by Anonymousreply 37November 5, 2018 8:37 PM

R10 WW. The rest? Envy induced. It is DL afterall.

by Anonymousreply 38November 5, 2018 8:48 PM

Two less deplorables. Shrug

by Anonymousreply 39November 5, 2018 8:49 PM

Two fewer, too.

by Anonymousreply 40November 5, 2018 8:56 PM

R28 has the scoop.

by Anonymousreply 41November 5, 2018 8:58 PM

She was out of his league, looks wise. Did he have money?

by Anonymousreply 42November 5, 2018 9:02 PM

R30 thanks for the link

by Anonymousreply 43November 5, 2018 9:15 PM

Was Grandpa even licensed? I can't find him on the FAA website.

by Anonymousreply 44November 5, 2018 9:21 PM

Great idea, R11! What could possibly go wrong by hiring a limousine . . .

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 45November 5, 2018 9:27 PM

R42, I wondered the same thing, because the article mentions that they were married on the groom's "family ranch."

DL Texans, are people with a "family ranch" usually well-off?

by Anonymousreply 46November 5, 2018 9:27 PM

by Anonymousreply 47November 5, 2018 9:34 PM

by Anonymousreply 50November 5, 2018 9:40 PM

by Anonymousreply 51November 5, 2018 9:43 PM

by Anonymousreply 52November 5, 2018 9:45 PM

That looks like a retweet from a black girl, R52, rather than blackface.

But, yeah, the bride's Twitter is awful. Here's something else she retweeted:

"Men were made to pursue Women were made to be pursued

Men lead the relationship Women support

That’s just it. That’s God’s design"

by Anonymousreply 53November 5, 2018 9:48 PM

He’s wearing camo. No loss

by Anonymousreply 54November 5, 2018 9:49 PM

Two votes the Repugs won't get. Silver lining and all that.

by Anonymousreply 55November 5, 2018 9:49 PM

They may have voted early, tho....

by Anonymousreply 56November 5, 2018 9:51 PM

R53, gee what do you think about God's Design now, dear??

by Anonymousreply 57November 5, 2018 9:52 PM

Shucks, r48, you're sweet. But, 47 replies and nobody had posted it yet? 12 or 15 years ago, if that film had existed then it would have been an r1, and not by me.

by Anonymousreply 58November 5, 2018 9:52 PM

I wondered if they crashed in front of guests too.

by Anonymousreply 59November 5, 2018 9:53 PM

LOL R15

by Anonymousreply 60November 5, 2018 9:54 PM

His Twitter bio: Speak English

by Anonymousreply 63November 5, 2018 9:58 PM

Would not surprise me R62. Next on Fox News: "Bride who criticized the Clintons killed leaving wedding. Do they have an alibi??"

by Anonymousreply 64November 5, 2018 10:01 PM

How fucking sad is it to be in that time in your life and so caught up with politics? You're in college, you're getting married, going out with your girlfriends, etc. She should be having the time of life. Instead, she's bitching about liberals.

by Anonymousreply 65November 5, 2018 10:01 PM

That's awful, Della at R47.

by Anonymousreply 66November 5, 2018 10:01 PM

by Anonymousreply 68November 5, 2018 10:02 PM

So this couple dies in a helicopter crash on their wedding day. They go up to heaven and at the gate St Peter says, “Hola. ¿Cuales son tus hombres, por favor? Necesito saber si Estes en mi lista. “

The groom yelled “Speak English!”

And ~poof~ they disappeared into the flames below

by Anonymousreply 69November 5, 2018 10:03 PM

There's always time to be a racist asshole R65, until there isn't (obviously).

So sad.....

by Anonymousreply 70November 5, 2018 10:03 PM

Yeah, I wrote tus nombres and they were changed into hombres by spell correct

by Anonymousreply 71November 5, 2018 10:04 PM

by Anonymousreply 73November 5, 2018 10:06 PM

So sad they died before the honeymoon and died virgins.

by Anonymousreply 74November 5, 2018 10:07 PM

"I am the proud wife of Bill Byler and mother of three wonderful children, Brenna Byler Smidt, Lynette Byler Parrott and William Troy Byler III. I have two sons-in-laws, Caleb Smidt and Rowdy Parrott and two grandbabies, Cru Tatum Smidt and Pacen Jude Parrott."

These names are like redneck bingo

by Anonymousreply 75November 5, 2018 10:08 PM

Shortest marriage in history. It's sad, snark aside.. didn't get the chance to start their lives.

by Anonymousreply 76November 5, 2018 10:10 PM

Here's the groom's sister's wedding. I guess helicopters are a thing at their weddings.

Your Toast.

by Anonymousreply 78November 5, 2018 10:13 PM

"If you cast your vote early and then die before Election Day, does the vote still count?"

Good question. I would think it would. You can officially vote early - your ballots are being officially cast on the day you vote (if not counted). So, once you do that, I'd think it would be binding, just as if you voted and died on election day.

by Anonymousreply 79November 5, 2018 10:13 PM

my father was a pilot and helicopter instructor in WWll and Korea and I Wouldn't go up in the helicopter with him.

by Anonymousreply 80November 5, 2018 10:14 PM

by Anonymousreply 81November 5, 2018 10:15 PM

by Anonymousreply 83November 5, 2018 10:15 PM

R67, who is Dave Pitts?

Also, here's the groom's Twitter where the bio says "Speak English". Why didn't someone post the link? Is it because you're posting from a phone, and it's a cunt and a half to link to something on DL on a phone?

by Anonymousreply 84November 5, 2018 10:16 PM

I feel sad, but mostly about myself, that I can’t bring myself to care about them after learning about their Deplorable status. I guess politics have become so entrenched and divisive that they’ve blotted out my sympathy, which I don’t like.

But then again, I feel less guilty about laughing aloud at R31, r32, and r37.

by Anonymousreply 85November 5, 2018 10:17 PM

Trump voters. Good riddance.

by Anonymousreply 86November 5, 2018 10:17 PM

No, I just didn't care R84 because he had...9 tweets. Not much to go through

by Anonymousreply 87November 5, 2018 10:17 PM

Actually hunters who own ranches in Texas tend to be less redneck than rich white cowboy-wannabe. They are closer to Don Jr. than Cleetus.

by Anonymousreply 88November 5, 2018 10:18 PM

^ I meant Della at r47, not r37.

by Anonymousreply 89November 5, 2018 10:18 PM

I don't even feel guilty R85, fuck these people. They're happy to put kids in cages and shoot refugees at the border. Hell, they're the ones who want to deregulate everything including aircraft safety.

Ps, I think R75 deserves an honourable mention as well. Redneck bingo, lmfao.

by Anonymousreply 90November 5, 2018 10:26 PM

[quote]When they arrived, family members who had reached the site in a private helicopter were already there, she said.

by Anonymousreply 93November 5, 2018 10:30 PM

tee-hee, r92

by Anonymousreply 94November 5, 2018 10:34 PM

Yikes, R91. That appears to be a new detail. That's sort of horrifying. I can understand why they went ― perhaps they hoped that someone was still alive, and could be saved. But can you imagine picking through the wreckage of a helicopter, locating the corpse of your child or sibling, and then staying there until dawn?

by Anonymousreply 95November 5, 2018 10:37 PM

Did he have a thick dick?

by Anonymousreply 96November 5, 2018 10:37 PM

Bad ending for Ellie May & Jethro

by Anonymousreply 97November 5, 2018 10:42 PM

This is what happens when you 'show off' that you're leaving your wedding by private chopper.

by Anonymousreply 98November 5, 2018 10:47 PM

Hard to imagine that people are dancing on these kids’ graves over politics. It makes you wonder about the right side.

Btw, for the poster who botched about the border, Obama started the policy of putting kids in cages. Hating Trump doesn’t change that fact. The difference is that Obama never ended the policy.

by Anonymousreply 99November 5, 2018 10:49 PM

Thank you Breitbart reader at R99.

by Anonymousreply 100November 5, 2018 10:51 PM

The helicopter belonged to the fug groom's family so yes, his family has money and that's why she married him.

by Anonymousreply 101November 5, 2018 10:58 PM

Rich and stupid apparently R101.

The helicopter's pilot, Gerald Green Lawrence, 76, of Houston, also died in the crash in northwest Uvalde County, KPRC reported.

I'm sorry, I'd be nervous about a 76 year old DRIVING at night, much less flying a chopper. Who the hell approved that idea?

by Anonymousreply 102November 5, 2018 11:02 PM

r99 just makes up shit.

Unlike Trump, Obama did not put kids in cages. Obama housed families together. Your guy Trump is a despicable disgrace. Own it,

by Anonymousreply 103November 5, 2018 11:07 PM

The pilot was my prom date.

by Anonymousreply 104November 5, 2018 11:10 PM

by Anonymousreply 105November 5, 2018 11:20 PM

R99, I was the poster who lamented my failure to sympathize. I hate that it’s come to this and I hate how it has affected my world view.

But I never once in a fucking split-second wondered about the right side. Least of all on the eve of Election Day.

by Anonymousreply 106November 5, 2018 11:23 PM

What are the odds Dad's ranch has undocumented workers on it? 90 or 100%?

by Anonymousreply 107November 5, 2018 11:24 PM

R107 No idea about this ranch in particular, but lots of people in Texas have “ranches” where they have some land and a house, but it doesn’t really work as an operating ranch. Sometimes they will have some animals, but again, not an operating ranch. It’s highly likely they didn’t have anyone working on their ranch at all. My grandmother, who was the daughter of a big time Colorado rancher, calls snobbish calls these places “ranchettes.”

by Anonymousreply 108November 5, 2018 11:36 PM

Excuse me. I mean ‘snobbishly.”

by Anonymousreply 109November 5, 2018 11:37 PM

Yep, r108. Folks call their weekend place a ranch but don't do much more than clear brush off the land (like when Bush was in office). It's a status symbol for the well-to-do.

by Anonymousreply 110November 5, 2018 11:43 PM

Something nice: their families didn't see them die and there's a good chance they were too buzzed to know what was happening

by Anonymousreply 111November 5, 2018 11:49 PM

by Anonymousreply 114November 6, 2018 12:58 AM

No one wonders about the right side any more, we all know the right side is full of nazis like you.

by Anonymousreply 115November 6, 2018 1:00 AM

What R90 said. I have a lot of compassion but for dead racists not so much...

by Anonymousreply 116November 6, 2018 1:09 AM

The unhunted animals are happy. The only good deplorable is a dead deplorable. Glad they couldn't breed more deplorables and kill more animals.

by Anonymousreply 117November 6, 2018 1:16 AM

R112, judging from their social media posts, I’d argue they probably ended up considerably farther south 👿 than even Texas.

by Anonymousreply 118November 6, 2018 1:17 AM

The mid-air three-way with the ancient pilot had no other possible ending.

by Anonymousreply 119November 6, 2018 1:19 AM

Aviation DLers, what are the odds that having a 76 year old pilot at 2 am ISN'T the cause of the crash? 5? 12%?

by Anonymousreply 120November 6, 2018 1:23 AM

R120 A probably tipsy 76 year old pilot who had recently married a gal who looks 30 years younger than him...

by Anonymousreply 124November 6, 2018 1:43 AM

It IS weird, isn’t it, when you realize that the country is so divided that you’re actually unsympathetic if not GLAD when people like this die in a crash.

Of course her family will sue, they may as well cash a check on their little gold-digger.

by Anonymousreply 150November 6, 2018 6:47 AM

The article doesn't say anything about separate burial plots, R149, just separate services.

by Anonymousreply 151November 6, 2018 6:54 AM

Isn't it ironic?

by Anonymousreply 152November 6, 2018 6:58 AM

From Wikipedia. Jesus fucking Christ.

Vidor was once known as a "sundown town," where African Americans were not allowed after sunset; it was long considered a haven for the Ku Klux Klan. In 1993, after the U.S. federal government attempted to bring African Americans into Vidor's public housing, the Klan held a march in the community, prompting African American families to move out within a matter of months.[1]

R147, it's just so they can feel like big, tough men and not much more. Don't get me wrong, some do purposely clear brush to landscape, to set up hunting blinds, etc. But for most, it's running around their land on their ATVs, drinking beer, clearing brush, shooting guns and maybe doing some hunting.

I cannot believe someone had the poor taste to write some shit about spending their honeymoon with Jesus. It’s almost like a challenge to normal, human reactions and feelings. No need to mourn! They’re spending their honeymoon with Jesus, and grandpa!

The only good spin on this, is that at the very least, this couple had an opportunity to spend their last day on earth surrounded by people they love, and these people who they love, were also able to spend the day with them. By all accounts, it appears to have been a fun wedding.

RIP, and condolences to their family and friends.

R176 The Bessette family were quite upset with JFK Jr for wiping out 2/3rds of their family, and while they didn't sue, they "reached" a settlement with the Kennedys for $15 million. JFK Jr was solely responsible for both Bessettes' deaths, hence the exchange of cash

A day in the life of Rowdy Parrott:

A conversation with Rowdy Parrott could easily whip up a person’s appetite. The 24-year-old professional steer wrestler comes from Mamou, Louisiana, and has Cajun cooking in his genes, whether it’s with game he’s harvested or crawfish that his family raises. “We eat a lot of wild game,” says Rowdy. “We get duck, squirrel, deer, all kinds of different things. You can put squirrel in rice gravy, and ducks, we breast them or bake them, or cook them in rice and gravy too.” Rowdy grew up knowing where the food on the table came from, helping his family farm until they switched to raising crawfish four or five years ago. They raise the crawfish in ponds formed by rice fields. The crawfish burrow underground when the rice fields are drained and harvested, then return to the surface when it rains and are harvested from November through July. Rowdy’s family harvests as many as 400-500 sacks of crawfish a day, and he helps with loading and shipping them to restaurants and stores.

by Anonymousreply 242December 4, 2018 6:11 AM

More about Rowdy:

Rowdy also loves hunting with his family, especially duck hunting with his dad and brother. “We love it. We get up early in the morning and go hunting in the rush fields, and we have some pretty good dogs. I have a cousin who does the training. It’s so fun; it’s addicting. Duck hunting is usually fast-paced. You might sit in a blind and talk, and deer hunting is more quiet, sitting in a stand and waiting.” As much as he enjoys the action of duck hunting, Rowdy likes the quiet of deer hunting even more. He hunts white-tail deer on his in-laws’ ranch in West Texas, where deer season runs November to January. “They’ve done a lot of work out there, so it’s all set up. Duck hunting is fast-paced, but I like sitting and watching all the deer and being outdoors. My wife, Lynette, likes to hunt. She doesn’t do it as much now that we have our son, Pacen, but she went with me a couple times this year, and I’m ready for Pacen to start getting old enough to do it.” While Pacen isn’t quite old enough to go hunting yet — he’ll turn 1 in May — he is a seasoned traveler already, trekking down the road with his parents since he was 6 weeks old. Rowdy met Lynette through rodeo, competing with one of her cousins before he started pro rodeoing. She rodeoed in high school and continues to ride horses with Rowdy. “I couldn’t do this without my family,” says Rowdy. “They have been amazing and always supported me and helped me get up and down the road.” He’s the first in his family to rodeo at this level, though his grandfather fought bulls. “We showed cattle and would always go to rodeos. I just liked it and decided I was going to try to do it, and I got hooked!” Rowdy started with team roping and made it to the NHSFR in 2009, followed by winning the LHSRA state title in steer wrestling in 2011. “I used to do all the events, but I just love the rush that you get steer wrestling, and the contact. I’ve always loved it since I first started,” says Rowdy, who made four trips in all to the NHSFR. He and his parents, Mitch and Tammy, and brother and sister, Remey and Tobi, also traveled to the IFYR during his high school career. Rowdy won PRCA Steer Wrestling Rookie of the Year in 2014 and made his debut at the WNFR in 2017 riding his gelding George. “To go there and do it was awesome — there’s not many other words for it. That topped it all, and I wanted to do better, of course, but I was satisfied with my first NFR and I’m just ready to go back.”

False equivalency, R229.

First of all, I live in a large European city and don't drive here. Walking and using public transport is generally better for your health. It's why Europeans aren't as fat as Americans. And before that, i lived in San Francisco and relied mainly on Muni and BART. I hate dealing with traffic and parking.

Even still, driving cars is unfortunately an inescapable part of life. Most people have no choice but to drive if even just to get to work and back.

In contrast, there is zero reason to ever get into a helicoptor. Zero. So people dying in helicoptor crashes is a bit closer to Darwin Award territory than just driving a car.
