New information about George's album.

A posthumous dance album by George Michael has been confirmed for release by Sony Music Entertainment; George had started working on this album back in 2011, but had not completed it prior to his death in 2016. The main condition for the album’s release was permission from his family, which was granted within the last year.

George’s creative partner, David Austin, told there are dance tracks he recorded and there are some finished products. There are some beautiful finished masters there.”

George specifically said that he had “lined up some really great dance producers to work on it too, so it’ll be a pretty stunning record,” though exact details on who the production team is have not yet been released. His goal for the album was to feature “gay or gay-friendly” artists. Some of these artists will be singing on tracks, instead of George himself, according to one of his earlier statements. We suspect that this will be a posthumous record done right, fully honoring George Michael’s intentions and memory. One thing’s for sure: all of his colleagues are treating this album with the highest level of reverence and love that anyone could ask for

This has flop written all over it. Because George's female fans want to hear George sing. George's gay fans never really supported him so they can keep that album. His estate just keep failing over and over again. Why not do George like Pete Burns and forget about him.

In the space of a few weeks he went from 15k followers to 89k followers without even posting much. Since Wednesday until now he jumped from 89k followers to 97k. What a total fake. Clearly he is buying followers to look like he’s some sort of successful celebrity. Those idiots haven’t noticed he has not acknowledged or mentioned his wealthy benefactor in ages.

This must be the album that DJ (Paul Mac maybe) tried in vain to work with him in but said that he was virtually impossible to work with - his work ethic was non existent. Didn’t show up for studio time , no attention span or concentration (heavy pot use over years does that to people) Basically describes a guy could never have produced brilliant the lush works of his past. The indication was there was nothing close to album worthy then. So how is it a Masterpiece now? This will very loosely be a George Michael album. If it’s not his voice how would one appreciate it as or even recognize it as a George Michael album. Particularly if not his typical style. Most fraus and non fraus (btw r18) appreciated his voice.

All that it means is that it was unfinished and very little of it is his work.

The last line is probably key to why an album is suddenly coming. I still can’t reconcile the “private” “discreet” shy homebody George with what all these Aussie’s describe and how he was clearly living.

I still listen to his music but I can no longer watched a video of Wham! or George performing, a documentary or listen to one of his interviews. It is disheartening knowing George was so focused on his song writing, performing and learning how to produce his music and taking charge of his career from the very beginning at such a young age. I understand the loss of Anselmo was devastating to George but I don’t think he ever truly recovered from the loss of his mother. He felt she knew from a very early age he was gay and she loved him unconditionally and supported his career. I can’t recall reading or hearing George in a documentary or an interview ever mentioning the love between his parents or their relationship. Plus George commenting on how tough things were for his sister’s compared to him considering he was the Greek boy. George struggled with his sexuality much longer than he ever should have. The longer he felt he was living a lie I think the harder it became for him to to be in a real relationship for who he was and not for what he had to offer. The lifestyle of the rich and famous and the money was just to tempting for the men he did get involved with. Add in the use of drugs and alcohol and in time he was no longer in control of George Michael the way he had been instead he got lost a little more everyday and lost touch with reality. He surrounded himself with the likes of FF and others like him. Like I said I can’t watch his videos and such. He could have had it all. He certainly had the looks, the talent, sense of humor and he cared so much for the less fortunate. I can’t watch him and know how unhappy he had to be and what a lost soul he had become. Just how I feel and it saddens me to know things haven’t gotten much better for him since his death. FF needs to crawl into a hole and leave George and his family alone.

I viewed it as a youth rebellion but getting arrested in his forties and rehabs in his fifties told me has completely giving up.

Add drugs, alcohol and paranoia in the mix and he was more than likely unreachable or couldn’t relate to everyday life. In the beginning days of Wham! Simon Napier-Bell had been out drinking with Andrew. They had a few too many and Simon got arrested for drunk driving. Andrew opened the front passenger door and fled the scene. Simon’s case was dismissed basically for a technicality. Andrew related the story to George. George asked what happened in court. Simon explained how he got off and George was scandalized. George thought it was immortal. George told Simon he should have pleaded guilty and taken his punishment. George being on a moral crusade was very unforgiving. Simon did defend himself and said he paid 200 pounds and vowed not to drive for two years. George said that’s not the point; you escaped punishment for doing something against the law. That’s wrong. George said you shouldn’t drive drunk. It’s a public danger. How ironic for George to react to the situation the way he did. Considering the situations he allowed himself to get into later in his adult life.

It is just sad all the way around. It’s almost as if the Beverly Hills bathroom scandal unlocked a man that was living two lives and he simply felt free and didn’t care what anyone thought. He seemed to get off on living dangerously and shocking people. I don’t know, maybe it made him feel totally in control. Music became an afterthought.

George did what he wanted with whomever he wanted whenever he wanted. And he cut people out or distanced himself from dissenters. That was always part of the problem and a major roadblock to him listening to people who wanted him to get help. I dont doubt David and the family loved him dearly but when you have a stubborn minded /drug addict for a friend /family member it is tough. You care too much to walk away but it’s torture to be around it too.

He was a 53 year old man. Why does he have to spend Xmas still with his sisters and father. Maybe the family relationships were shattered. Can you imagine what they went through all the years of drugs, arrests, jail, near death illnesses, suicide attempts. Not including whatever personal family strife might have been at play as well.

Maybe David had family of his own to see at Xmas. He seems pretty private. I’m sure he had people to be with and obligations. Maybe they never spent Xmas with each other.

Maybe none of them could deal that fadi was back in his life so Xmas was off.

If the Aussie hoes are to be believed - they said shortly after George died that fadi was toasted in late 2015 / early 2016 when George got out of rehab. George stayed in goring in 2016 most of the time to not be in the London scene (good god he had people like cocaite moss for a neighbour), got lonely in the summer 2016 and brought fadi around again. I’m sure that was disappointing and worrisome for people close to him.

I don’t believe overt blackmail was going on. George would have paid him and sent him packing. Fadi likely assumed he was in thicker than he was though. He probably was realizing the end was near. He even said “things had been complicated lately” but they were both looking forward Xmas. I believe that things were complicated. As in he knew he was out he door soon.

Another source early after his death said fadi was getting the axe again after Xmas because g felt bad about doing it during the holidays.
