OMG. I just realized something. He and Adina Porter look alike, and have always reminded me of each other. Every-time i saw either in something I would always try to remember who he/she reminded me of. They not siblings or even related however.

Ive long held the belief that sexual abuse in the black community is far more prevalent than is acknowledged. Every single one of my black gay friends,men and women alike,told me they were sexually abused as children. Every single one . Im sure there are black gay people who werent,Im just speaking from my own experience. My poor friend Andre,long since dead from aids,told me there wasnt one male in his life from the time he was small who DIDNT fuck him. Brothers,cousins,uncles ,preacher,all molested him. He was very pretty,and very femme, wich Im sure didnt help in his case. I feel for Mr. Porter ,that cant have been easy to share.Male rape is an unacknowledged crisis in this country . How many convicts in the penal system have stories of sexual abuse ? More than we think.

r34, I kind of understand where she is coming from. Up until recently society viewed feminine, nongender conforming boys as gay. But some of them grow up to be straight. Just as some masculine boys, who do typical sports stuff grow up to be gay. The only way to reason a 7 yr old boy is gay is if he's feminine.

If this explains his god awful acting on AHS then I take some solace from it.

I had similar, but not as long term or intense, experience with a family member. I still get flashbacks of memories all these years later. I'm 50 and I've never told anyone in my family. I admire his bravery.

Sending a seven year old boy is likely gay is not limited to effeminacy. A wiser worldly predator can detect a kid’s fascination with and attraction to the same sex through many signals and actions. A look here, a stare there, favorite role models, heroes, etc.

I remember my uncle laughing at me when as a very young boy, he brought me to a locker room at the beach and I was entranced and fascinated with the men in all states of naked. He caught me staring at him and laughed (he knew).
