They have a proud history of college groups(such as the Ques) doing very elaborate synchronized dance routines. I believe that group dancing is very important to them in a therapeutic fashion. It is sometimes said that without the ability to dance their pain away there would be far more black psychiatric issues. Hopefully this near tragic event will spur architects and builders to go that extra mile to insure that the practice of dance therapy will be safe at all venues likely to host blacks.
