R33, Bono and Ali Hewson have been married since they were both around 21/22, started dating when they were 15/16 and had been close friends since they were 12/13. Same with Larry Mullen, he and his partner started dating when they were maybe even 12/13.

That's an incredibly long time with relationships starting at exceptionally young ages, and probably with tons of pressure on them with the guys being on the road for such a long time and no doubt having plenty of opportunities to cheat.

I don't know if they ever have, there have never been any real rumours or even problems in their marriages/relationships. I know some people at DL think Bono's wife Ali Hewson has lesbian tendencies but don't know the source for that.

How can you go for all your life never wanting to have sex with anyone else just to see what it's like? In any relationship after a number of years the sex can get boring. Yet they seem genuinely happy. That's nice, if it is the case.
