I'm watching this right now. Very talented, but the way she manhandles that food guarantees I would not touch a thing if I attended any party she catered. I'm not that precious when it comes to cooks and servers touching food, but watching her sculpt the food is slightly stomach turning.

I was wondering what was going on with DL not attacking a woman who isn't Barbra or Judy. Then, I saw that she doesn't actually look like a real woman in those pictures. She looks like a doll. A weirdly proportioned doll. So, just gay guys liking women as clothes hangers again. Got it.

I imagine the food tastes terrible. It's quite possible she's anorexic, as they tend to focus obsessively on food.

To me she has no screen presence at all. I was really curious about the show and the spooky concept, but she's just ... boring. Lost interest while she described how to make a human bone out of a pretzel stick. The puppets overshadow her in any way. Or maybe I am just spoiled by Amy Sedaris and her larger than life comedy lifestyle show.

When she starts her creations the cakes are already made. Um, I need help making the cakes. Besides only rocket scientists can do what she does.

Her cakes are like works of art. I couldn't eat something that looks like art. It should be displayed somewhere.

Agree with poster above; she has zero screen presence. She comes off so much better on social media. You can't have it all. She's still weird enough, and so insanely talented, that she intrigues me still.

I've wondered if she's a media creation. I expected someone making these kinds of creations to be weirder. The skeptic in me thinks there's a team of pro bakers and tailors behind the scenes.

The breakout star of the series is Rankle the cat. He has more charisma and star power than Christine.

is she on TV? or just the internet? I am very bothered by her. What happens to all this food she makes? does it just go to waste? it must taste like shit, but still it seems very wasteful. It would be more interesting if she made fake food that would last forever as a sculpture of sorts. Also, how much money does this woman have that she can do all this? does she have a real job or is she just a wealthy housewife?

She makes a living at this. She gets sponsorships, sells books, makes appearances, etc.
