Eh, I don't think so, OP. I was intrigued by this thread, so I just went and read a few of the latest articles about her and this Head Above Water song. It sounds like she's vaguely spiritual, and the song is a convenient cross-over hit for her on the Christian music charts, but she's no fundie. Here she is in the Billboard article, gossiping with the journalist and her assistant about the Lange-Twain cheating scandal, and which of Twain's husbands was a better catch:
