Actress Aishwarya Rai for example. She looks exactly like an Italian-American cousin who is of 100% Italian descent. Not every nationality and ethnicity fits into a specific box.

It's not that she's light skinned, it's that she doesn't look like a light skinned Indian. I get mistaken for a North Indian all the time by Indians. Ethnicity is not magically identifiable if you're from a certain place. Haley has a different look. It's not a good or bad thing, it just is.

Looks like Nikki is actually Sikh and Sikhs are often lighter than other Indians as they are Punjabi.

Op I agree. I think getting her nose, teeth, and chin (I think) fixed made her look much more euro than you'd expect for someone who isn't mixed. It doesn't have anything to do with her skin color which has always been relatively light.

I've known a few Brits were split down the middle and were very attractive. The Indian admixture corrected the buggy bulging eyes of their English grandparents. The dichotomy of races usually leads to otherworldly beaut hybrids. Although nothing can top eastern Canadians/First Nation and American black/white mixes found in North America as far as looks go.

At R12, Haley needs to go for grey resistant hair coloring. Or just let it go because darker the hair the better the shade of grey. Blue black hair eventually turns into a glistening silver. Dirty blond or light brown greying is the worst lackluster grey.
