What are the credentials of this “body language expert” ? How often is she hired as a consultant, and by who? Has she published peer-reviewed paper, or books?

I didn't read this report, but the thing that bothered me about the other "experts" I read reviewing her testimony, was that they all said her vocal fry was an attempt to lower her voice to match the many men in the room. But, I fail to see how vocal fry is lower or masculine, it sounds like high pitched baby talk to me, if a woman wants to lower her voice she should try to sound like Lauren Bacall, not this vocal fry shit, that makes it harder to take people seriously. I did find her credible, when listening to the whole testimony, but every time I hear snippets of her testimony that voice just grates on me, and makes me think of an immature teenager.

She appeared on YouTube 2 weeks ago, R13- now she has 2 million views & people believing this BS. She has not given her name or any credentials. That's how things are now.

I used to watch her vids until I figured out her biases, her ignorance and that she was popular.

Is that vocal fry, though? It just sounded like a very young, squeaky voice. There is a theory out there that women who are sexually abused when they are young tend toward high voices and their voice stays locked at the age they were attacked. She sounded about fifteen to me.

R27 I didn't think it sounded like vocal fry, either, but all the experts that were commenting on her testimony across the partisan landscape seemed to agree that it was vocal fry. The one thing that kept going through my head was that it must suck being one of her students. I actually had a professor that talked like that and I dropped the class after about 15 min.

I'm going to be honest,even if there are problems with this woman, Kavanaugh is simply unfit for office. We don't need another rage filled, embittered Irish American in a place of power.

OK, so I just watched part of OP's video. What the fuck was that? This "expert" is just taking anything Ford is doing and giving it a negative connotation based on completely fleeting glances at her appearance and demeanor. Any other "expert" could do the complete opposite and give it a positive connotation in the alternative. Also, nothing this "expert" is saying has any sort of professional terminology intermingled with her creepy satanic NPR voice. She keeps going from "defiant" to "pretty pose" to "little and small," I'm 17 min in and she just keeps describing her body language in completely generic terms and then using a negative tone to convey it negatively, without actually telling us why she thinks it's negative. Methinks this expert is just some stupid chunky half-educated frau who's labeled herself an "expert" when she is none in fact. And I'm not saying the gal is incorrect necessarily, as I am certainly not a body language expert so I can't really provide a better assessment. But I don't believe for one second the woman narrating this has any clue as to what she's actually saying. The whole criticism of her voice and crunching her neck down to get croaky . . . well could it just be her actual voice and that she's reading and needs to look down to read? I mean, it's Congress, I can't say I'd fare much better in front of them. I can do that, "Here she does peacock, and it makes her look grandiose which is untrustworthy. What a stupid liar." Hmmmmm, maybe I'm now a body language expert too.
