It was a only couple of times, and it ended over A Star is Born, which Cher had really wanted to do. Cher got pissed when Barbra signed on and said Streisand didn't know shit about rock and roll in an interview.

I think they have lots in common, at least when it comes to their politics, and the longevity and variety of their careers. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to enjoy each other, but I doubt that they ever seek each other out, either.

R21, Actually Barbra and Liza ARE friends. I read some story about Barbra, Liza and Donna Karan doing some exercise class together, but it didn't work out because Barbra kept stopping the routine because she just felt like talking.
