I wish she'd bring this tour to the US.
Gay & DL icon Kylie Minogue opening night at London's O2 arena looks nothing but FABULOUS!

Was so much fun watching her perform "Especially for You" with Jason Donovan a few weeks ago. Nice that she's still on good terms with him.

OP, I was just in London for work and was so excited when I found out Kylie was playing London this week. It was a triumph. It is definitely her most stripped down tour in years -- you're not going to get the spectacle you got in the X and Aphrodite days, but she seemed so confident and at ease, her vocals were great all night and she just has that elusive x factor -- a pint size woman with massive stage presence and genuine warmness. She almost broke down at the end as she seemed to get overwhelmed by the thunderous ovation she got from the audience.

This sounds excellent. And the UK reception has been one of almost unanimous positivity. I did feel kind of bad for her having to do those slightly seedy dates in Palm Springs several months back, but this sort of thing should help to place her back at the top of the heap.

Kylie also has a new single out, not related to her record 'Golden'. It could be a teaser for her next set, Kylie says: "I feel a bit of disco coming on next".

R5 - I wouldn't feel bad for Kylie. She's always primarily been a gay icon in the US. Her UK shows while, yes, full of gays is a bit more "general public" . Playing the Palm Springs gig (and NY Pride this year, too) was probably very smart. Also, she looked so good out in Palm Springs with that wild desert wind serving as a natural diva fan...

Holy shit. This performance is amazing. The voice, the band, the lights, the drama. The pantsuit. Brava!
