Don Lemon Gets Emotional...

I'm starting to think there's something wrong with Don Lemon along mental health lines. I know he is embracing his inner Julia Sugarbaker but last night he basically shouted down April Ryan, of all people. He's not even really doing his job... he reads a few news items and then groups people around to listen to what he thinks. The behaviour seems to be escalating. He makes Cuomo seem buttoned down.

Don has stunt queen tendencies like a lot of gays with less influence and status. I doubt he really gives shit about some of the stuff he says, as long as he takes home those huge checks. He knows what he has to do keep ratings for his program strong, and they are.

This was fairly amusing.

Anderson gets a shit ton of crazy hate from Trump supporters. He used to be active but he stopped because Trumpers kept spamming him with photoshopped pics of him killing himself like his brother. And the qanon crazies think he killed his brother, so that's fun. then the whole Kathy debacle happened and she turned the gays against him even though he did not have a choice but to make a statement. and that happened the same time as his break-up with Ben.

His opening segments are very good, though. He did a split-screen of Trump/Kanye and the hurricane a couple of days ago, which was pretty awesome.

I enjoy the Cuomo/Anderson bits at the end of ac360 too. And I have noticed Anderson likes a lot of Cuomo's instagram posts, which is rare for Anderson. He mostly likes art pics. And he seemed very touched when Cuomo stood up for him after the whole Don Jr mess with the flood pic.

I think Anderson wants Chris in him, quite deeply.

Why is it that Chris Cuomo chats with Anderson before his show, Don Lemon after is show. but Anderson and Lemon never chat at all? Or any blend from one show to another the way MSNBC and Faux News do with almost all of their prime-time shows?

Anderson is not good at light banter, which is why his talk show failed.

On MSNBC, a really big news event (like the Kavanaugh confirmation) will bring together several anchors to discuss it. I've seen Chris Matthews, Nicolle, Steph, Ali, Andrea, Katy, Ari and even Joe Scarborough and Lawrence O'Donnell (but never Rachel).

OTOH, CNN doesn't seem to like to bring together too many of their anchors.

In daytime, you mostly just report the headlines and there isn't time for all that political discussion. Don is handsome and he also has a fun personality that people gravitate to, which would be good for daytime. On NYE he is the main event, while Anderson Cooper falls flat.
