Searching Threads
Does anyone know how to search further than the recent search? I see a button for archive search but it just brings me to a basic google search, not a DL thread search.
Sorry if this has been covered before, but since I can only search recent threads I have no idea if this is a multiple one.

Do you really think you should be allowed to start threads if *this* is an example of the content you contribute?

I actually wasn't searching in order to start a thread. I was curious to see if anyone had started a thread on a TV show from a couple seasons ago because I wanted some clarity (and snark) on it.
But thanks for your useless contribution.

I use Google to search DL. I put Datalounge in quotes and the subject in quotes. The Google results should pull up the subject and date of the thread.

thanks R5. I guess I'll have to do it that way. Does anyone know why they limited the search?

I also do as R5 writes.
R6, I just think the search technology is really old. Maybe they’d have to pay google if they used it, I don’t know how “commercial use” works.

This works on google too:
site:datalounge.com your keywords here

When you’re using the ‘Search Recent’ option, remember to UNCLICK every option below, and just leave the ‘Subject only’ on.
Otherwise the search results are really messed up.

You don’t need the quotes when you search Google. Just include Datalounge in search criteria.

Thanks, everyone. (Except for that fetid cunt at R1)
I used Google and found what I wanted.

Google is a successful company for a reason, I use them to search every website, their search works better than the search functions created by various places.
