OP, I've never understood why being tall is a requirement for models. And that's for both men and women. If they're goodlooking and have good poise, why would height matter?

R4, I'm only 5'4" although I have proportionately very, very long legs which makes me look much taller than I actually am. Still even if I wear high heels there's a lot of fashions I just cannot wear. Expert wardrobe stylists on sets would always tell me, "That garment is meant for a very tall woman, it will overpower you. There's too much fabric, the print is too large, you need more petite details."

My BF is 6'0, 165, slim with very long legs. He looks good in baggy, long shorts (too embarrassed to wear tight-fitting ones.) There's nothing he can't pull off. That's the difference in being tall versus short.

A number of my great looking friends were asked at one time or another if they wanted to do porn. The flip side is that when naked - short men often look better than the tall guys - not always, but often.
