"Worth It" series on YouTube
Does anyone else watch? I typically stay away from all things buzzfeed, but it's really good and entertaining. The two hosts, Andrew Ilnyckyj and Steven Lim are adorable! If I was a younger man, I would be all over Andrew, he's exactly my type.
The show is two guys and their team go out and taste test food at three different price points, and decide which is the most worth it at its particular price point.
I've linked season 1 episode 3 because it's the episode Andrew debuts. You'll be hooked!

What is with the creases under his eyes?

Is either gay? Are they friends? Lovers? They must have made some serious money on that series. Look at the view counts.

I like Adam, the camera guy. Silent and adorable.

They don't personally make money from the view counts. Only Buzzfeed does.

Those two should go independent like the Try Guys and that Safiya girl.

Buzzfeed likely has them locked down pretty tightly since worth it is their most successful series of videos.
I also like Adam. I love the nerdy guys. Also, how do you pronounce Andrew's last name? It's Ilnyckyj.

Isn't the Try Guys part of Buzzfeed too? How did they break free?

Andrew and his deadpan delivery make the series for me.
I like the "cocktail" episode, featuring the incredibly suave bartender "Cash Black", who looks like he came straight out of a Rat Pack movie.

I agree r8. I could even listen to Sarah Sanders' press briefing if Andrew would read it to me.

The Try Guys quit Buzzfeed and started their own company a few months ago. In a video on their new channel they said Buzzfeed was still involved some way. I think they're handling advertising.

I like the try guys too. Worth it and try guys were my favorites buzzfeed videos.

I’ve always loved the series, have a big crush on Andrew too. I’ve got a bunch to catch up on. Seeing a couple of guys enjoying good food and wine is so “normal” to me, but in an older episode there were comments calling them cucks, and f*gs. That’s when I really realized how different Trumpistan is from my world.

Steven and Andrew have great chemistry. I love when they ask Adam what his favorite is and all you hear is a quiet voice in the background. I love the episode where they taste cakes, and bring along Rie.

How could they quit Buzzfeed and then start their own company doing the same schtick? Buzzfeed owns Try Guys. Just like SNL cast members can't quit SNL and still do their characters.

Here's the video from their Youtube home page, R14. It's about how they started the company. I'm going to guess Buzzfeed gets a percentage of the money they generate in exchange for letting them use the Try Guys name.

The Worth It guys were on the Today show a few weeks ago. They're on the cusp of hitting major mainstream success.
The Try Guys are funny, but I prefer them as a group. When they do videos focusing on only one of them, it's very hit or miss.

Why would Buzzfeed agree to that when it doesn't benefit them at all and only encourages their other employees to go rogue also?

My guess is the Buzzfeed gets a percentage without the effort and without having to fund any future production the Try Guys make.
The Try Guys now produce everything on their own dime and Buzzfeed still gets a cut. They even included a segment in a video where they all went to a bank to get a loan. Sounds like a good deal for Buzzfeed.

Let's see, they either get a slice of the revenue for videos that each generate more than 2 million views, or they don't. Which would you choose?
Except the Worth It guys, I don't see think they'd care if anyone left to start their own channels. Views are way down for Buzzfeed videos in general compared to their peak.

Uh, I would choose not to let them go off on their own and keep those more than 2 millions views per video at Buzzfeed.

They quit Buzzfeed months before they launched their own channel. If BF offered them incentives to stay, they weren't interested.

Andrew is now engaged to this woman who was supposedly the boss over at Buzzfeed's channel Ladylike. Also looks like Andrew has a hairy chest too.

Well one third of Worth It and the Ghoul Boys from Unsolved have now left Buzzfeed to start their own company. Guess R5 got it right.

I think it's now been alleged that hairy Andrew and his gf have broken up.

Why was Andrew left out of the deal? They obviously don’t get along. The Try Guys didn’t exclude anyone and the Ghoul Boys are both coming along.

Who knows r25. Maybe Andrew didn't want to leave Buzzfeed. It's obvious that Andrew and Steven don't have the same chemistry in their current videos as they did in earlier videos.
