Also, Paul is just a shell of his former self (a "placeholder" just like Brady said, serving Will or Sonny). But I thought Chambo did have hot chemistry with CS for the brief while Will was one chasing Paul in the beginning of the year.

I think TVLine is doing a little bit of clickbait here. The Deadline article mentions nothing of what TVLine added about Days. In fact, this is just another syndicated daytime talk show that has a deal with NBC O&Os, like Ellen and like Steve Harvey. This is not a network talk show, this is produced by NBCU Domestic TV Distribution. NBC doesn’t have to give up an hour of programming.

Major markets are picking the show up so that's fueling speculation. The show stinks so I'd love it if ReRon brought the house down.

Kelly's show is slated to replace Steve Harvey's show & to be the lead in to Ellen's show.

That is nowhere near the Days time slot in most of the country.

And we don't know if Kelly's show will be successful -- my guess is no.

The only question is will Kelly's show last an entire season?

I think there was a rumor a few years back that a few higher ups at NBC had secretly hoped Days would be cancelled because they had gotten tired of the show.

This isn't like when NBC cancelled Another World for Passions and cancelled Passions for the 3rd hour of Today. This is not apples to apples. Which is why Deadline didn't add all that Days nonsense in their article. This is just another syndicated show that was picked up by the major NBC stations . It will not air just on NBC stations. For instance Kelly and Ryan airs on the NBC affiliate here. I'm not concerned until I see additional and credible reporting.
