Movies or TV shows where some character is named "Hope"
Doesn't it make you want to vomit? There's always a dramatic stating of it too, like, "Hope. Her name is.... Hope." *music swells* It's so corny and sappy.
"The Originals" vampire movie has a baby named Hope in it, and I think they use the statement above, verbatim. It's enough to make one want to kill their wife and two children.

The only ones that are coming to mind are from Days Of Our Lives/The Bold & The Beautiful.

I recall "30-something" at the height of its popularity, and viewers standing in line to hate the Hope leading character, Michael's wife. (Mel Harris' smug, self-righteous portrayal didn't help matters.) Even her hair seemed humorless and smug.
I cried when sexy Gary died in an accident. It should have been Hope.

Oddly enough it seems like every Hope I’ve heard of comes off as a stone cold bitch. Hope Solo springs to mind.

I have never watched this show but is “The Fosters” really about a group of foster children raised by a family named Foster? Now that is cringeworthy.
