In many Asian cultures, and especially in more traditional Asian households, it is expected that a son will live with his parents until marriage. As a result, you find a lot of Asian men who married a woman just to get out of their parent's house and have some freedom. Combined with the fact there's plenty of pressure on women to marry by a certain age, there are lots of Asian women who are willing to turn a blind eye to their husbands' extracurricular activities.
