“Eager Hot Butt”. I am not sure how vintage it is, but I read it in the late 80s. Very entertaining. It was memorable in its vulgarity. A line I remember explicitly referred to the mess left on the protagonist’s cock after a nasty sexual escapade: “Shit, grease, and a few drops of blood.” Good times. Reading is fundamental.

Those covers always freaked me out as an adolescent.

The collection "Pulp Friction," edited by Michael Bronski, is available on Kindle for a reasonable price (also lots of cheap used copies). It's a blend of anthology and historical context of these books. It's a hoot, but also strangely touching in showing how in a pre-Stonewall era writers and readers looked for any outlets to represent (however poorly, sometimes) gay male relations.
