The Walk Away movement is huge and growing. The Radical Left and the Democrat Party has betrayed moderate Americans of good will, including many gays.

I get the Walk Away Movement connection, and CFG is definitely not a Democrat. But the thing that's so abhorrent to me is that he minimizes discrimination, harassment and violence every chance he gets. That does direct damage to other gay people by practically legitimizing it. He uses the term 'gay' to describe himself, but I think he'd probably rather use a different term like homocentric or homoidentified or some shit.

Yes, I've read about and now know more about him than I wish I did. I've read dozens of his articles, read about him, and tweeted back and forth with him. He's not only completely tone-deaf, but actively discredits anything to do with being gay, except for the fact that he's married to a man. He goes on and on in an article about how fantastically he and his husband were treated by all the straight people in his world, and uses that to claim that no one is against gay marriage. He's like that fucking idiot Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.), chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, who appeared with a snowball on the Senate floor to demonstrate, once and for all, that climate change is a hoax. He seriously purports that discrimination against gay people is uncommon, and takes every opportunity to discredit anything to do with LGBT.

The "I have mine / I need more, fuck the rest!" attitude on the conservative side has always been counterproductive. But the GOP always thrived on an "us vs. them / superior vs. inferior / right vs. wrong / etc." rhetoric platform hyped by the (right wing) media. Typica Divide & Conquer strategy.
