Was just browsing some old Facebook posts of his and found this.
Most will probably just ask, Who? But he's a pretty popular fitness trainer and former Real World Brooklyn cast member.
Also an ally to the LGBT community so that's why I'm surprised.
Though this is from just before the election, I wonder if his views have changed or evolved at all.

I don't know much about him, but I'm not surprised a male in the fitness world leans conservative. It's rare to find progressive or liberal heterosexual men in the fitness industry.

I am not sure why. I just think back to the many men I've me in the world of fitness (through family members who are in it themselves) and the majority of the ones I know lean conservative and are also pretty religious. Maybe it's changing with the newer generation. The guys I am thinking of are all in their forties.

It was indicated in The Real World: Brooklyn that Scott was a conservative, as is Chet Cannon. If you watched that season, how are you surprised? Ryan voted for Obama because he thought it would end the Iraq War, but he's probably conservative. J.D. and the girls were the liberals.

His being a Republican was a focal point of his time on the Real World. My guess is people bought into that "ally" bullshit and made assumptions that he wasn't a conservative. His being an "ally" was about getting your money not caring about your rights.
