Why does this need its own thread? The article is posted multiple times in the other Aretha threads. One day of mourning and celebrating her greatness and now the mean spirits come out to play? I expect a nasty "miss warwick" thread soon. That poster is vile. Anyway these things are not news about Aretha. Her fans are aware of her greatness, her tough life and her nature. She had pain in her life as do we all. She was able to channel her pain into her work...yes, I’ve heard all the stories about her father impregnating her, the alleged anything goes sex orgies held at his church and all sorts of other things. Maybe some of it happened, maybe not. Right now we should be grieving and ignoring the haters.
