It's an indictment of exploitation theatre as practiced by those like Adam Rapp.

The full-frontal nude scene involving the young actor was painful to watch because it emphasized the brutal power dynamic--the actor playing the director was literally shouting at the young actor as he was stripped by another actor.

It was tough to watch but proved a point.
