Vincent D’Onofrio Consults Twitter Before Accepting Racist Role in TV Drama
"On Saturday, D’Onofrio asked his 180,000 Twitter followers for feedback on whether he should accept a role in an unannounced television show that would task him with playing an “irredeemable racist” based on a real person"
So now actors are getting Twitter's okay before accepting roles? LOL...

Disappointed to see this wimpy PC pandering behavior from one of my fave actors (hands down, the most interesting and wise-ranging resume in Hollywood). I'd expect this from some D-List millenial "star," not a well-established and respected actor like Vincent.
Then again, I think it's more just a reflection of today's society than anything else.

America has gotten so stupid that an actor has to worry that the audience won't realize he is playing a character and end up thinking he is just a racist

Will he be playing Donald Trump?

It was just some fun to get a little fan interaction. He probably already accepted the role before he even made the tweet. Pull the stick out of your ass.
