Avenatti considers run for US President 2020?

Too soon ya think?

by Anonymousreply 124October 7, 2018 5:14 PM

He was my hero for being the only person to really stand up to Trump...until he hitched his wagon to Scarramucci and started begging for a TV show. He’s an attention whore and I don’t trust him. And I am beginning to resent the zeitgeist around his alleged hotness. He looks good for a 47 year old, but he is still a balding entertainment lawyer who represents porn stars and has been chasing fame all his life. Nope.

by Anonymousreply 1August 10, 2018 9:51 AM

Not running for president. Perhaps soliciting as many 6 figure donations as possible to form an exploratory committee. Play it smart and he can use the leftover cash to pay off the millions in legal judgments against his shyster law practice.

by Anonymousreply 2August 10, 2018 10:25 AM

I have to see him naked before I can answer that question.

by Anonymousreply 3August 10, 2018 10:33 AM

Could someone post a link from the Des Moines Register (Iowa). Dunno how to make linkies.

by Anonymousreply 4August 10, 2018 10:34 AM

I wanna suck his pee pee

by Anonymousreply 5August 10, 2018 10:44 AM
Could someone post a link from the Des Moines Register (Iowa). Dunno how to make linkies.

You sound like a little retarded girl who gets on the internet when your parents aren't around. You need to leave.

by Anonymousreply 6August 10, 2018 11:01 AM

I assume he is sleazy as hell but he seems intelligent and can't be much worse than we have now.

by Anonymousreply 7August 10, 2018 11:01 AM

This is what happens when you start believing your own publicity. He needs to stick to what he’s doing now.

by Anonymousreply 8August 10, 2018 3:00 PM

He is more crooked than Hillary.

by Anonymousreply 9August 10, 2018 3:01 PM

Avenatti already said that weeks ago, I remember the DL thread.

by Anonymousreply 10August 10, 2018 3:02 PM

r9= Donald Trump

by Anonymousreply 11August 10, 2018 3:04 PM

So many scared as shit deplorable sin this thread. I’d vote for him. He’s a hell of a lot smarter than the current White House occupant and is brave and fearless.

by Anonymousreply 12August 10, 2018 3:23 PM

He’s not that hot. His face is average at best, and we haven’t seen enough of the body to make a determination. Not sure I’d vote for him.

by Anonymousreply 13August 10, 2018 3:28 PM

He's not going to run. He regularly says inflammatory things for the sole purpose of making Donald apoplectic. He also said pretty recently that he was considering representing Michael Cohen, which anyone with even cursory knowledge of how legal proceedings work (in other words, not Donald Trump) knows is impossible.

by Anonymousreply 14August 10, 2018 3:45 PM

If he's going to run, he better start raising money NOW.

by Anonymousreply 15August 10, 2018 3:46 PM

Any nude pics available??

by Anonymousreply 16August 10, 2018 3:48 PM

He seems very smart and articulate and is able to think on his feet. Which is the hallmark of ANY good trial attorney. He has zero political experience but neither did the orange anus in the White House. The fact that he cozied up to Scarymoocher is disappointing and really did show his ass (not literally, unfortunately) that he is a fame whore. That is not a dealbreaker for me though. I am grateful that he has stood up to Drumpf and continues to poke him with a stick. But I don't think he is presidential material for 2020. NOW is the time to begin to start ratcheting up his political capital if that is his goal (as another poster above stated). His "hotness" is mercurial to me. He has kind of a goofy Elmer Fudd head shape but also has intense eyes and very seductive lips. He is much more handsome with different lighting and camera angles. It's fun to talk about his fuckability here on the DL and I just don't seem him actually making a run for the White House. He is a career lawyer and had no interest in politics (does he now?) until he was thrust into the media spotlight for representing Stormy?

by Anonymousreply 17August 10, 2018 3:52 PM

He would be destroyed by the Repubs.

by Anonymousreply 18August 10, 2018 3:56 PM

I like this guy, he has charisma. But I prefer professional politicians. People who know how the system works and can therefore be effective. Also, a demonstration of channeling their ambition into public service would be nice.

by Anonymousreply 19August 10, 2018 3:59 PM

You know all those stupid reelection rallies that Trump always has? Avenetti could have the same thing, except headed up by Avenetti. I would go if it is a good hate speech about Trump.

by Anonymousreply 20August 10, 2018 4:06 PM

The thing about Avenetti? He is wise enough to take advice.

by Anonymousreply 21August 10, 2018 4:09 PM

I’d go to a rally of his too. Lol. The bar is so low why not? Someone needs to beat Trump at his own game.

by Anonymousreply 22August 10, 2018 10:59 PM

Desperation - it's the world's worst cologne.

by Anonymousreply 23August 10, 2018 11:02 PM

He would be a big improvement. Anyone can be president if they fight dirty enough.

by Anonymousreply 24August 11, 2018 12:31 AM

He is at the Iowa fair today.

by Anonymousreply 25August 11, 2018 12:48 AM

If that fat orange fascist can be president, anyone can be president. Avenatti would be a huge improvement, I agree, R24.

by Anonymousreply 26August 11, 2018 12:51 AM

I'd add my vote too. Like r22 said, the bar is so low now. I'd take an energized Avenatti over a docile Dem anytime. We need someone with a clean slate to kick Repug ass!

by Anonymousreply 27August 11, 2018 8:04 AM

CNN host Erin Burnett first played a clip of Avenatti talking about how serious he was about his consideration.

Then, turning to the panel, she said simply “okay” before Frank Bruni, New York Times columnist, noted that he is not sure if he “believes that at all” because of Avenatti’s penchant for manipulating the media.

Then, turning to Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Burnett asked, “would you support a Michael Avenatti?”

Blumenthal replied, “I would not support Michael Avenatti for President of the United States,” before adding he would not support him for any office unless “he can demonstrate some knowledge of the issues” and something other than “showmanship.”

by Anonymousreply 28August 11, 2018 9:10 AM

We’re all becoming idiots because of this Russian-directed degradation of the nation and national interests. The left is becoming nearly as stupid as the right. Public policy is not a job any charismatic person can simply waltz in and do. Avenatti says things that appeal to the left—fine—that doesn’t make him anymore qualified to work as a federal official than Trump is. Yes, he is a lawyer. Trump’s supporters argued that he is a businessman who went to Wharton. Obama and H. Clinton were senators; Bush was a governor; Clinton was a governor; Reagan was a governor. Even the most moronic of them at least had experience working with public policy and governmental administration. Avenatti tweets like Trump tweets and is on a media-circus tour to call Trump names on TV and to promote the career of a porn star. As much as that has done to embarrass Trump, which most of us appreciate, let’s not forget that that porn star is not only someone who chooses to have sex on camera to make her living—fine—but who chose to have unprotected sex with a physically grotesque, delusional, married elderly man with a new infant in the hope of getting fame out of it. I’m not so impressed by this dynamic duo. To talk about Avenatti becoming president to me is no different than to talk about Trump being president. Bad fucking idea. Everyone is stupid today.

by Anonymousreply 29August 11, 2018 9:45 AM

He can win. Why? Because he's telegenic and has sex appeal.

by Anonymousreply 30August 11, 2018 1:44 PM

The Democratic candidate needs major charisma or it’s game over. I agree that this person needs political experience however that comes second to someone who can get people energized and engaged. Americans don’t elect the dull, intelligent kid.

by Anonymousreply 31August 11, 2018 1:51 PM

Democrat women are energized and a major force in choosing Democrats up and down the ballet in 2018, 2020. So, you have to ask yourself, will women be ready to vote for an unqualified aggressive lawyer after supporting an hyperqualified secretary of state Hillary Clinton? I don’t think so...

Women like docile and pleasant politicians and Democratic women have the upper hand for the next few voting cycles.

by Anonymousreply 32August 11, 2018 1:55 PM

R32 straight women also like sexy, strong men. Imagine a hot daddy debating that Orange turd and calling him out on his bullshit. Docile? NO NO NO. If you want to lose again go that route,

by Anonymousreply 33August 11, 2018 2:00 PM

Sheepy women and homos alike have jumped onto the Avenatti-is-the-sexiest-human-alive bandwagon and I think many will mindlessly follow him anywhere. Expect People to name him one of the sexiest. I will be surprised if he were to actually run for POTUS, but he will profit handsomely and turn this weird fame into an on-camera career that will last until his own scandal catches up with him.

by Anonymousreply 34August 11, 2018 2:02 PM

If you say so R34

by Anonymousreply 35August 11, 2018 2:21 PM

If he's not mutilated, he's perfect. Although he should have some governmental or political experience. You shouldn't go from nothing to president. Maybe he should run for governor or senator.

by Anonymousreply 36August 11, 2018 4:57 PM

It should be a requirement to have political experience to get close to the WH not to mention actually belonging to that party for quite some time. Both parties allowed interlopers in and now we have this mess as a result. Well done!

by Anonymousreply 37August 11, 2018 5:04 PM

You don't need much experience.

by Anonymousreply 38August 11, 2018 5:21 PM

I liked his latest speech. I want a Dem with balls. He has my attention.

by Anonymousreply 39August 11, 2018 5:27 PM

The DNC will shoot him down.

by Anonymousreply 40August 11, 2018 5:50 PM

R38 Barack was a little green but he has that it factor you need to win the vote. And he’s a brilliant scholar of the Constitution. Do you think Dump has even read the whole thing never mind contemplated it’s meaning? It’s fucking ridiculous that this asshole is ruining a great country. He’s a shitstain on the story of America.

by Anonymousreply 41August 11, 2018 5:56 PM

Hey, r41!!!

R41 No one is comparing Barack to the Dump. Read the op.

by Anonymousreply 43August 11, 2018 6:38 PM

Avenatti is hanging out with David Axelrod (Obama's campaign strategist) so at least he's getting expert advice.

by Anonymousreply 44August 11, 2018 6:43 PM
If he's not mutilated, he's perfect.

He’ll need to provide dick pics so we can be sure.

by Anonymousreply 45August 11, 2018 8:28 PM

I find it remarkable that as far as I know trump hasn’t once mentioned Avenatti in one of his tweetvomits. Avenatti is hot and has great charisma but it would be a continuation of the showbiz prez show. But the Dems haven’t yet come up with anyone inspirational, or a clear and succinct message about what they stand for. It’s overdue.

by Anonymousreply 46August 11, 2018 8:48 PM

OP,

Who?

by Anonymousreply 47August 11, 2018 11:48 PM

Hottie Avenatti!

by Anonymousreply 48August 11, 2018 11:50 PM

R47, the owner of the local pizzeria, Rose.

by Anonymousreply 49August 12, 2018 12:03 AM

Love to see him win and how the history books in grammar school would explain Avenatti’s rise to power including cementing Stormy Daniel in those same books.

by Anonymousreply 50August 12, 2018 12:18 AM

He's free to run but he won't win.

by Anonymousreply 51August 12, 2018 12:22 AM

R50, she will be described as an “actress” or “model”.

by Anonymousreply 52August 12, 2018 12:23 AM

I, for one, don't believe in celebrity stunt candidates, regardless of how well-intentioned they may be. If someone wants to start out running for a state or local office, and get a little experience of actual governance, then great. But Trump, Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura and other candidates like that just highlight the dangers of electing inexperienced candidates.

by Anonymousreply 53August 12, 2018 12:29 AM

Face it kids, if he runs it will just be a scam to cash in as much as possible before he withdraws..

by Anonymousreply 54August 12, 2018 12:42 AM

My brother texted me before the plane took off, but he is on a plane from Wash DC to Los Angelos - with Michael Avenatti. Says he is in a suit, a couple rows behind him, economy class. If he gets a chance, he will talk to him.

by Anonymousreply 55August 12, 2018 5:51 PM
a couple rows behind him, economy class.

Oh Gurl. No.

by Anonymousreply 56August 12, 2018 5:58 PM

Well, he is an attorney- which means he is at least SMART enough to understand the fucking constitution, unlike the POTUS now.

He gives a shit. Unlike the POTUS now.

He is not a fascist fucker. Unlike the POTUS now.

I say, he has MY vote.

by Anonymousreply 57August 12, 2018 6:02 PM

I’m with HIM!!!

by Anonymousreply 58August 12, 2018 6:30 PM

I find him trashy.

by Anonymousreply 59August 12, 2018 7:16 PM

He’d make a good Vice President, or Senator. Politics is an odd business. Let him prove himself first.

by Anonymousreply 60August 12, 2018 7:49 PM

His divorce, link to a porn star and combative personality would be too much for many Democrats. There were two, lame "go high" women, on MSNBC saying this yesterday.

by Anonymousreply 61August 12, 2018 7:57 PM

I need to see his nude pics first before forming an opinion.

by Anonymousreply 62August 12, 2018 7:59 PM

He's exactly the kind of person the DP needs. And his divorce would be too much for them R61....What age and planet would that disqualification come from? And try telling Hillary one needs experience to be elected R60.

by Anonymousreply 63August 12, 2018 8:23 PM

I don't see him doing the hard work that the next Democratic POTUS will have to do starting in 2020 to get the country out of the gutter.

by Anonymousreply 64August 12, 2018 8:24 PM

I don't think he has any real interest in running. He's just exploiting his 15 minutes of fame to its fullest. He'd be better used as an aggressive spokesman (attack dog) for someone's campaign in 2020.

by Anonymousreply 65August 12, 2018 8:57 PM

He isn’t running. He using this as an opportunity to get on TV as much as possible. He’s a famewhore.

by Anonymousreply 66August 12, 2018 9:20 PM
He'd be better used as an aggressive spokesman (attack dog) for someone's campaign in 2020.

He’s the Democratic version of Kellyanne “I Can Spin Anything” Conway.

by Anonymousreply 67August 12, 2018 9:22 PM

All he needs to do is release some shirtless pics and tell Democrats what they want to hear - universal healthcare and that he’ll reverse everything Trump is doing if he gets elected. He should distance himself from the Clintons too.

by Anonymousreply 68August 12, 2018 9:32 PM

I just want a Democratic winner. I am so damn sick of this thug criminal Trump and these Repigs. However, I am also a news junkie and a student of politics, so I would prefer a candidate with some executive (governor) or legislative (senate) experience. It's very difficult going from a private citizen to the presidency. You should have some experience in politics.

At the moment, my candidate is Gov. Jay Inslee, Democratic governor of Washington state.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 69August 12, 2018 9:33 PM

r69 I wish Inslee were still considering running! Four days ago I checked the Wikipedia page of Americans considering candidacy, and Inslee, to my regret, is in the [bold]Declined[/bold] subheading. I thought he'd be great. He's not super popular in Washington state, but he's definitely not hated, and his Attorney General could easily replace him. I like Inslee because he has a voice and a spine: his state rebelled against the net neutrality repeal, rebels against the morally reprehensible legislation from the White House, and economically Washington state is doing very well.

by Anonymousreply 70August 12, 2018 9:39 PM

Whoever it is needs to have the balls to shut Trump down during a debate. Totally rip into him and push all his buttons. We don’t need a nice, docile goody two shoes. It’s time to play hardball and get Democrats riled up and ready to WIN!

by Anonymousreply 71August 12, 2018 10:06 PM

Oh please. Oprah was vilified on here for considering running, but this guy is supposedly so much better?

Whatever charm this guy is starting to evaporate fast. It's becoming apparent that he will latch onto anything to extend his five minutes. This just reeks of egocentrism. And what happened to all the dirt he supposedly has?

You're going to need someone with experience because there's going to be a mess to clean up. A hot guy isn't going to cut it when you're trying to repair broken relations with foreign dignitaries.

Did democrats learn nothing from throwing obscene amounts of money at Jill Stein after the election?

by Anonymousreply 72August 12, 2018 10:16 PM

Kamala Harris can do all of that... with ease.

This democrat didn’t.

Clinton beat Trump in every debate. I take it that it would be good to perhaps beat Trump in a different fashion, but Trump and his supporters will declare victory regardless of the substance.

If a Democrat beats Trump like VP Biden beat Paul Ryan, we’ll hear about the “triggered” and out of control Democrat.

It’s a hard act to stay in between the Clinton and Biden lanes, but I think it’s best accomplished by a masculinity and a humor that few likely candidates possess. Avenatti did cable TV hits during the Michael Cohen consulting payoff scandal and referred to Cohen, who was being paid for his accounting knowledge, his pharmaceutical knowledge, and his legal knowledge by multinationals, as a “renaissance man.” Quips that encapsulate the point and humiliate through the truth of humor are effective. Avenatti just may be the man of our times.

by Anonymousreply 76August 12, 2018 10:39 PM

I’d love it if the candidate had the guts to call him names like Twitler or Mango Mussolini. I know it’s childish but Americans are more interested in celebrity figures now than boring policy wonks. He’s a fat, Orange, traitorous turd and someone must “tell it like it is”.

by Anonymousreply 77August 12, 2018 10:54 PM

R77, the candidate should leave it to surrogates to call Trump those names. The candidate him/herself needs to be above that nonsense and not stoop to Trump’s level.

by Anonymousreply 78August 12, 2018 11:05 PM

R78 I respectfully disagree. The Democratic nominee needs to say the unsayable. The truth. If the British Royal family can evolve to exist so can the Democrats.

by Anonymousreply 79August 13, 2018 12:11 AM

Democrats need a guy with balls...like Avenatti. And he probably has a nice dick, too

by Anonymousreply 80August 13, 2018 12:16 AM
but this guy is supposedly so much better?

Yes, he is. No more Mr. Nice Dem.

Trump and the GOP didn't just lower the bar for the presidency, they ripped the bar down and shoved it up America's ass.

by Anonymousreply 81August 13, 2018 12:36 AM

SUCH a dumb idea.

by Anonymousreply 82August 13, 2018 12:41 AM

the no political experience isnt really true. While in law school he worked in research for Rahm Emanuel. Trump cant/wont even read and you dont think Avenatti is qualified? Tell me why exactly you think Joe BIden would be more qualified and be a better president than Avenatti? If the answer is he has more experience....then was that experience actually good? To me Biden seems like a bumbling idiot that Trump will and can mock right out of the race. The only other candidate that seems maybe to have some mojo is congressmen Swalwell from Calif........nice guy, good looking, some experience but I dont think he can fight dirty enuf to beat Trump......you need a wip smart relentless hard hitting personality superb with the media to go up against the orange one ( if he isnt impeached before hand). What present on the scene democrat do you think could put away Trump? Warren? SHe is a HORRIBLE public speaker and generates zero heat.............I dont know of anyone. Trump knocked out 15 qualified political opponents in the republican primary with basically no knowledge of government, history, or politics. What he is is a gifted candidate as long as you dont talk policy (and he is an expert at changing the subject)..............horrible president, but a great campaigner and the dems better not take anything for granted.

by Anonymousreply 83August 13, 2018 1:38 AM

R83: ITA! Democrats need someone like Avanetti to go up against Trump! Knowledge and high ground did not work for Hillary. Schiff and Swalwell are too nice. Biden/Bernie too old. Kamala/Warren are women (country not ready for that - yet). Democrats need thier own pitbull! However, I hope Avanetti does not have too many (or bad) skeletons in his closet because you can bet they would be dug up, exploited and used against him!

by Anonymousreply 84August 13, 2018 1:45 AM

He’s got plenty of skeletons, r84, but only 1/100th the amount Trump has.

by Anonymousreply 85August 13, 2018 1:48 AM

Avenatti is a hard “NO” for me.

by Anonymousreply 86August 13, 2018 2:01 AM

I dunno, after Trump a dead slug is a step up. A dead slug is even preferable to conscious non-voters, at least it has an excuse for why it let a Deplorable gain a vote. Avenatti would have to go through the Democratic Caucuses and Priimaries. If they approve him, my household would.

by Anonymousreply 87August 13, 2018 2:04 AM

Who are avenatti potential voters. I don't see anyone else voting for him except the hard left who hate trump.

by Anonymousreply 88August 13, 2018 2:30 AM

R88 - The hard left, soft left and moderates hate Trump!

by Anonymousreply 89August 13, 2018 2:33 AM

I don't see the moderate dems voting for avenatti. His association to porn star stormy will be a turnoff. I won't vote for him based on that alone.

by Anonymousreply 90August 13, 2018 2:36 AM

r89 the non-apocalyptic people who have more than three brain cells to rub together and aren't sociopathic, psychopathic mobsters nor child molesters hate Trump.

by Anonymousreply 91August 13, 2018 2:42 AM

Moderates might hate Trump, but that doesn’t mean they want another unqualified pseudo-celeb attention-whore like Avenatti.

by Anonymousreply 92August 13, 2018 3:04 AM

I've never gotten the rabid admiration of this guy here. It was the same with Comey and Kelly at first-- people are looking for a hero, then reality sets in. Just like Comey, Avenatti has been a fame whore from Day 1. I mean, he has tried to make "#basta" happen as his catchphrase. It's so embarassing it's painful. Yes it's great that he's stood up to Trump, but it remains to be seen whether it amounts to anything. All the fame whoring is also risky in that he could piss off a judge and blow all the work he's done so far.

by Anonymousreply 98August 13, 2018 3:21 PM
the candidate should leave it to surrogates to call Trump those names. The candidate him/herself needs to be above that nonsense and not stoop to Trump’s level.

WRONG! The Dems need someone who will call trump names and shoot down everything he says. Trump is good when he's the only one shooting off his mouth. Bill Maher has even said it when Hillary was running. He and Michael Moore said trump was a schoolyard bully. They said they could spend an hour with Hillary and teach her how to verbally fight back and cut him off at the knees. Because if it's a verbal contest between schoolyard bully trump and a rational person, trump will win every time. He has a bigger mouth

The only person that will beat him is someone who can sling back everything trump just said right to his face and then add some put downs about trump. I know this sounds childish, but being rational and moderate is what lost the election for the dems in 2016. The one thing about repugs is they go out and vote. Most dems stay home. Obama only won because he got a whole lot of black people to go out and vote. If he were a white guy, we'd have been stuck with mccain and palin. Make NO mistake about that. We need a streetfighter who is going to get people from all states to go out and vote

by Anonymousreply 99August 13, 2018 4:10 PM

I hope he does. Trump is terrified of him, and for good reason: Avenatti isn't afraid to say Trump is a liar and rip him to bits. This is exactly the kind of person needed to go against Trump.

by Anonymousreply 100August 13, 2018 5:03 PM

Yeah, we need a junkyard dog! I like that he isn't a professional politician, he won't be leaving any constituents in the lurch when he takes office. None of TPTB in the Party are rising stars, so I am keeping my eye on Avenatti.

He seems like a decent guy and he’s tough in a way Dems could use, but no. I saw him interviewed today about wanting to run and he didn’t come across well. Plus, he blocks Dems on Twitter who tell him he’s not qualified to run. Not being able to handle criticism from his own party is not a good sign.

R34 not sure about Avenatti but Erin Burnett is a snide ,smirking right wing, capitalism worshipping cunt who got where she is by blowing bankers. Like that condescending piece of shit has the right to sneer at anyone.

105 here. That comment was a response to r28. My mistake.

by Anonymousreply 106August 14, 2018 5:13 AM

I just saw him on CNN with Don Lemon. Anybody else see it?

I love Avanatti, (in fact, I was the OP of the very first Avenatti thread!, hehe), but I was very wary when I heard he was considering running. However, I was quite impressed with his appearance tonight and while I don't necessarily agree with everything he said, he made some really great points that others have yet to speak. I'm thinking perhaps he has no intention of truly running, he's just using the attention to further his platform, and more importantly, drive Trump crazy.

I'm keeping an open mind for now.

"....he has no intention of truly running......."

Isn't that how Trump started?

But make no mistake, I'm an Avenatti fan. Just not sure he can be of best use to us by running for President. He really just needs his own TV show.

In his latest hint at a potential presidential run, Michael Avenatti tweeted out a list of his stances on a variety of social and economic issues Tuesday in a document titled “What I Believe.”

While he said it isn’t a comprehensive summary of his platforms, he stressed that it was drawn up without the advice of a political consultant on “what to say or what to believe.”

R108 I posted that. I knew it wouldn't take long for someone else to write exactly what you did. haha

I think the difference may be that Trump didn't realize Putin was intervening, and once he did find out, he realized he had a genuine chance of winning so that changed his mind.

Just a theory.

I love Avenitti, but don’t want to bet on another inexperienced person. Yes, I want a “politician”. I want someone who knows how the system works. A senator or governor. Maybe a House Rep.

I suggest Ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok as his running mate.
a document titled “What I Believe.”

Pretty much a standard progressive checklist. No political consultant was necessary as long as he could google the DNC website.

I would vote for him in a heartbeat. He is fearless and Trump is obviously scared of him.

by Anonymousreply 115August 27, 2018 5:24 PM

As of right now, I'd vote for him. We'll see what the next two years bring.

by Anonymousreply 116August 27, 2018 5:27 PM

Still feel that way, R116?

by Anonymousreply 117October 7, 2018 1:55 AM

He may have cooked his goose with the Kavanaugh thing

by Anonymousreply 118October 7, 2018 1:56 AM

The elaborate gang rape story was a bit much.

by Anonymousreply 119October 7, 2018 4:24 AM

Only DP candidate worth putting forward.

by Anonymousreply 120October 7, 2018 6:42 AM

I still feel the same way. We'll see what the next two years bring. If the Dem don't seem to be putting up a strong front-runner I'd be more than happy to see him take a shot.

by Anonymousreply 121October 7, 2018 3:21 PM

Avenatti is so hot. I bet he fucks with reckless abandon. Mmmmmmm

by Anonymousreply 122October 7, 2018 3:25 PM

I think he’s a highly effective operative who would be terrible for the party and country as a candidate.

The referendum on Trump will be about his character, his cruelty, and his corruption. Avenatti doesn’t serve as a good model on any of these fronts. Neither do some other likely 2020 candidates, but this is a thread about Avenatti.

by Anonymousreply 123October 7, 2018 3:32 PM

Refugs are frightened of avenatti. They have sent forth the troll army.
