My wife was diagnosed with BPD by the court appointed psychiatrists during our divorce and custody battles which got to be known to courts and police departments in 4 counties. I have been told by several in the court system our case was the most extreme they have ever dealt with.

Like Angie, she was extremely beautiful and turned completely nuts when she turned 38. |n Brad's defense, when a BPD loves you, you have never felt as loved in your life. They are obsessed with you and pleasing you. They worship you. No one ever gets diagnosed with BPD when they are in that phase. You do not look for what is wrong with this person. It is incredible. You can not believe your luck. It is magical. It is intense. The sex is wonderful and breaks boundaries. They love everything about you. I wanted children so she was desperate to have them.

Then------ they flip and it turns into a nightmare. They will fake abuse, they will try to run you down with their car while the kids scream in terror watching. They will do everything to alienate the kids from you, the now evil spouse. They will be so over the top that judges pick up on it in the first few minutes of a hearing when they hear them speak. Lawyers will ask permission of the judge to resign in the middle of the hearing.

Jolie was kept for most of the 72 hour hold. Remember, UCLA is a resident-oriented facility and residents rarely discharge on weekends without attending supervision. So most patients admitted on weekends won't be discharged until Monday morning rounds with the attendings.

To my point of view, that makes AJ the asshole, not Brad. And her lawyers claim that she's gotten no money from him, and then he counterfiles to say he's sent her plenty of money. He has more money than she does, but she still has millions. It's not like she can't keep up with the bills. My guess is that Wasser wanted Jolie to keep things amicable with Pitt and quietly do the “co-parenting” thing and keep things moving in a direction where there was ultimately a resolution that made Jolie (her client) look good in the press while also finding a long term workable solution between Pitt and Jolie regarding custody sharing, finances, etc.

The recent statements from Jolie’s camp (since the rumors of her firing Wasser) about things moving in a “new direction” with the court case and the divorce moving into a “new phase” are very telling (in my opinion).

My guess is that Jolie will be unmanageable for any reputable, professional “family law” (divorce) attorney and will ultimately prove impossible to work with.

I think that she legitimately believes that those kids are “hers” and hers alone and that Pitt is now an enemy (very back and white) and needs to be destroyed in any way possible (allegedly this is a typical BPD attitude during divorce and custody proceedings).

She is out for blood and will probably burn through one law firm after another.

Most professional attorneys are not going to want to embarrass themselves in front of the court by trying to fight for/enforce what is essentially parental alienation on Jolie’s part through the court system.

The local news actually debunked that whole story, rather than confirm it. The manager of the airport said no one got on the fuel truck and if they had he would have gone straight to the police. No court ordered this for Brad. This was voluntary by Brad at the very beginning. It was a custody agreement that allowed for changes over time especially once he was cleared by the child services of any abuse and cleared by the FBI. It was anticipated it would naturally change over time and that was part of the agreement and those changes could be made if both of them agreed. She would never agree to changes no matter what progress was made or what the circumstances were. She went so far as to take the children all out of state for that first Christmas so they couldn't spend any of the holidays with their father.

When Brad's lawyer started discussing increased visitation for him or even just make up visits when they had to be cancelled they were told no. So Angelina and her lawyer went behind his back and filed the custody agreement with the court making it a court order.

If the court is satisfied that the children are being provided for and no one has asked for a court order of child support then the court won't interfere. So I'm pretty sure you can omit the request but once a court has ordered it then you have no choice. Court ordered child support is not astronomical no matter how much money either parent has. It's based on reasonable costs of the children. The court has to look at everyone's financial disclosures. If Brad has 50/50 shared custody then there may be no child support ordered at all. Lots of factors play into it.

Brad voluntarily signed a temporary custody agreement while the accusations against him were being investigated. He supposedly volunteered as well to drug/alcohol testing. No court ordered any of this. I think at that point, just shortly after Jolie filed for divorce, he would have signed anything in the hopes of saving his marriage and/or his family.
