I can't stand him. He talks way too loudly and he's full of fake enthusiasm. I suppose he'll be a perfect fit for that show.

I hope Cam continues to point his index finger, bug out his eyes, and rasp every sentence in a stage whisper as he did in every scene on All My Children to convey emotion—any emotion—whilst interviewing guests on the show.

That show (if you can call it that) is horrible, regardless of who the host is. Old, bed-ridden ladies are probably the bulk of the audience.

He caused the demise of AMC. He was on every day with his crummy, bugged- eyed acting and fake Batman-like whisper. . I can not recall one storyline he was in. I can recall every Erica, Adam, Phoebe, Palmer, Mark, Natalie ,Myrtle, Tadd, Kendall etc storylines. Know who else was awful? Kelly Ripa. Just awful. They both stunk up the set. Apparently the mid west buys there fake acting/interview style.

How can you not recall a Ryan story when you can remember the storylines he was in with the actors you remember?? Makes no sense. I was a guest on Home & Family a couple years ago and it was very exciting. It was my first talk show!

Shortly after his debut in early 1998, AMC became the Ryan Lavery Show.

R10, I think AMC would have faded into the shadow of its former self regardless given the competition from the much better and relevant TCM and the ready availability of much of its product on YouTube and streaming services. It wasn’t adding value like TCM does.

I bet Cameron has better social connections and can bring on past/present soap stars. As soon as Debbie took over as Co-host their show guest quality doubled.

That show is so weird and fake. You can tell their main demographic is white Christian stay-at-home Moms, who watch in-between changing diapers and reading Bible verses.

Most of the guests are closeted gay actors from the Hallmark movies. It's all so silly.
