For some reason, I never believed Cybill was as big a cunt as people said she was. I think the only thing she was guilty of was trying too hard. She simply just isn't very funny, but she kept trying to make the world think she was the second coming of Lucille Ball. It didn't help that Christine Baranski effortlessly stole every scene with a simple gesture of glance. I actually see Cybill as a bit of a Valerie Cherish type.
