Oh, FFS. The vast majority of teens who fucked rock stars did it of their own initiative and were neither forced nor coerced, and THAT's why they aren't making a big deal out of it. They weren't victims, they were gleeful partners in crime, and it earned them HUGE bragging points with their peers.

Was it legal? No - and nobody cared. Same with drinking and doing drugs, and working jobs that you legally had to be eighteen to work. Adults were hiring teens for adult jobs (like working dangerous machinery) and buying them drugs and alcohol, but nobody's making a federal case out of that stuff even now. And nobody's crying over those poor 'victims' of those crimes, either. Because obsessing over underage sex is the last Puritan sexual taboo. We're good with doing anything else, but we need something to gasp over, so we've decided to retroactively get our panties in a bunch over teenagers having a blast.

Go for it. And if you're ever run over by an underaged driver, don't sue them. They're a minor, so by your lights they can't be held accountable even if they got a driver's license. Nope, all that counts is that they're under the age of eighteen.
