Who is the Enemy of the People?
I’m developing a list, least we forget.
A caveat. While Mexico isn’t sending us their best people, and they are sending us their drug dealers and murderers; some of them, I assume, are good people.
Also remember that there are good people on both sides of the concentration camp wire.
Write-ins welcome.

Right now, without a doubt- today's media and it's propaganda is our enemy.
Who is running this show?
Who is allowing this? Most news outlets, be it print or reporting, has let the American journalistic standard well known from the past, slide down to a cheap tabloid malevolence more suited for a British entity.

When the NAZI gang was putting together a list to kill on “the night of the long knives”, the list quickly expanded from the original offenders, to any personal enemies of the list makers. IIRC, that also happened in Rome, too, during many of their purges. Especially wealthy men whose property could be seized.

Why are all your choices except Trump liberals, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 115 | January 17, 2019 4:23 AM

Because the thread was opened when Trump was whining about being the victim of one ridiculous person or group after another. The US left doesn’t use the phrase “enemy of the people”. The point is to press home how utterly stupid it is to accuse any of these groups or people of being the “Enemy of the People”, as if they are Bond villains. Jim Acosta? Footballers? Montenegro? Trump has such lame enemies.
by Anonymous | reply 116 | January 17, 2019 4:29 AM

R117, it was meant to be ironic. How can “our friends and allies” be a real choice? It’s like “I hate my friend Julie...”, it’s an oxymoron. It’s not meant to be serious, except in Trump world.

I read that 30% of the public think the media is the enemy of the people, but that’s just Foxwashed Republicans. They won’t be dissuaded from their opinion. The only way to beat them, is to get them to be disillusioned and stay home. That’s not easy to do.
It’s easier to motivate the Left to get out and vote. Trump needs to be depicted as the Fascist embarrassment that he is. As the real enemy of the people, and Putin’s puppet. I think we can win doing so.
