This is the second time I’ve seen Sara’s patience pushed to its limits on the show in recent weeks. And then they go on to report about North Korea, lingering on video of Pence saluting the American-flag draped coffins that Kim Jong-un has sent, and then commenting while Kim Jong-un hasn’t stopped North Korea’s nuclear program, they have stopped testing. That was the last word: “They have stopped testing.” There’s no good, objective-based reason for reporting the nuclear threat and instability of Kim Jong-un in that manner.

There isn’t time for much anchor commentary after a political story, but George, Robin, etc. do get one little moment. When there’s a story about a hate crime, especially a racially-based or sexual orientation based-one, Robin’ll Shak her head with a “tsk, tsk.” I’ll never forget that after one of the eleventy billion stories about Hillary’s emails, Robin said, “This story doesn’t seem to be going away,” and George said in authoritative, teacher-knows-way, “It sure isn’t.” Those three words connoted that there was something to this email business. Instead, he could have been dismissive. “But it should.” Or “It seems like there’s nothing new to say.” Instead, he gave credence to all the email stories.

ABC may not be overt like Fox News, but they are nevertheless slanting their entertainment-as-news coverage to reinforce conservative talking points. Meghan McCain is just the most conspicuous example.

David Muir's show often has divisive news that CBS or NBC don't carry or give as much weight to. And, Radditz will often have fewer democrats represented on the show and she will always grill the democrat while going easier on the republican.

They may enjoy chatting about boys and pop culture over a cocktail but they’ll never see life and how to live it the same way.

R588 I did the same, but after Meghan’s contract was renewed, before Fox News 2.0 was announced by ABC. I’ve seen a few old videos of interviews with Meghan McCain recently and she seemed like an entirely different personality compared with the one from The View. She didn’t come across as volatile and uncontrollable and obscene and hateful and wrathful and cruel years ago. It’s as if she has been actually brainwashed. People change their opinions over time but very rarely so radically change their personalities and demeanors. She’s not the same person, and she has not changed for the better at all.
