Which popular dip do you prefer?
I hate both. Why is there no option for that, OP?

Guacamole. Richer and more satisfying, although I had a fava bean hummus once that was pretty damn good.

rich = fat. I don't like how it goes brown. Team Hummus

Hummus, but only home made. With a piece of toasted bread and some good olive oil... a treat.

Avocado is a ‘good’ fat, R3
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 25, 2018 9:19 PM |
Guacamole all the way. Hummus isn’t that good and it’s supposed to be so healthy and yet it always makes me feel so ridiculously full.
I eat avocado just about every day with something so it’s not even close.

I like a nice tzatziki dip.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 25, 2018 9:29 PM |
If it's made right, I prefer guacamole. But 90% of guac out there is absolute shit. It has to be absolutely fresh with a light hand on additives. Hummus is not as hard to screw up, and I like mine on the spicy side. Love the sesame and spice combination.

Guacamole is one of my favorite foods, but I also love hummus. This is truly Sophie’s Choice.

I like the green goopy stuff.. on toast in the morning prepared with salt/pepper, mustard powder, prepared horse radish, garlic powder. I like hummus too, but it's secondary to guacamole. Avocados are ridiculously expensive where I live... on average, $2.50 each.

Guacamole definitely.

Liptons French onion dip.

I refuse to participate in a discussion where people won't even recognize the rights of baba ganoush!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 25, 2018 10:26 PM |
Organic, R10? Have you tried farmers markets?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 25, 2018 10:27 PM |
Tzatziki definitely!
Hummus is gross!

other: dill and sour cream
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 25, 2018 10:29 PM |
Remind me: which one gets parsley and which one gets cilantro?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 25, 2018 10:31 PM |
Guacamole BITCH! Especially with lemon and lime juice and toss in a lot of Pico de gallo! BOMB!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 25, 2018 10:34 PM |
Dill and sour cream is good, too.
Throw the hummus in the garbage.

What part of "Other. Name it." did you not understand???
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 25, 2018 10:35 PM |
R14.. I don't always buy them, until there's a sale. I should look into a farmer's market. Everything is pricey by me, unfortunately.

People living in Florida and California are lucky. They grow them in their backyards.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 25, 2018 10:38 PM |
Hummus is bland. Guacamole all the way!!!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 25, 2018 10:40 PM |
Right R13, Baba G all the way.

Other: Hot Cream Dip
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 25, 2018 10:47 PM |
Good point R13. A good, smoky BabaG is hard to beat.

My favorite way to eat it is to have my lover dip his dick in a bowl of guacamole and then lick it off from tip to shaft. Nom nom nom.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 25, 2018 11:46 PM |
I jack off into my hummus and call it CUMMUS.

I like muhammara! So spicy! The guys who work at Sevan Bakery are so damn cute, too. I need my fix!

Unless you throw everything but the kitchen sink into hummus, it tastes like wallpaper paste. Guac all the way.
